Voice Architecture Lab (VAL) is an architectural design consultancy with offices in California (USA), Shanghai, and Taipei. Led by licensed architects registered in New York, the firm brings a wealth of international experience and a broad global perspective. VAL aspires to uncover the essence and vision of each project by listening deeply to its functions, context, and users—translating these insights into design that is both intelligible and experiential. Our recent work spans a spectrum of urban regeneration efforts in high-density city centers—including office, residential, mixed-use, and supertall developments—as well as low-density programs such as research campuses, corporate headquarters, tourism centers, and ecologically-driven design and adaptive reuse projects. We aim to foster environmental improvement, celebrate and amplify positive qualities, and reconnect fragmented landscapes. Ultimately, we seek to support communities, enterprises, and ecosystems in envisioning and shaping a more promising future.

O AI 设计师

主要职责
1.参与建筑与城市设计的早期构想、形态生成与环境策略研究
2.运用 AI、参数化与环境分析工具，探索光、风、材料与空间的互动关系
3.研究并优化 AI 与建筑设计结合的工作流程，参与 AI 设计方法论的开发与测试
4.运用生成式 AI 工具，将技术成果转化为具叙事性与诗意的建筑表达
5.跨领域协作，参与设计研究与实验性项目

基本要求
1.建筑、设计或数字艺术相关专业本科及以上学历
2.具备优秀的空间构想与设计能力，以及美学感知与图像叙事能力
3.熟练掌握 Rhino + Grasshopper，熟悉 Ladybug / Wallacei / Midjourney / Stable Diffusion / Runway / Unreal Engine 等工具
4.对 AI、参数化设计、生成式设计与环境建模有浓厚兴趣与实践经验
5.能够独立思考、主动研究，并具备远程协作经验
6.具备中英文沟通能力与良好的团队合作意识

O 中级建筑设计师 Intermediate Architectural Designer

基本要求：
1.优秀设计能力；
2.建筑学本科及以上学历；
3.作为全职建筑设计师在专业领域拥有三年以上工作经验（不包含实习经验）；
4.具备项目设计执行能力和复杂的工作环境中较强的沟通能力和组织能力；
5.能够熟练进行建筑的空间组织；
6.对建筑系统有框架性的认知；
7.能够与客户和项目组紧密合作，积极配合设计团队及掌握业主需求，也可独立主持及带领团队完成高质量项目；
8.英文和中文（普通话）能力兼具；
9.熟练掌握各种设计软件。
作品集中需包含必要的专业图纸。

Basic Qualifications:
1.Strong design sensibility and conceptual rigor;
2.Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture;
3.Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience in architecture (excluding internships);
4.Demonstrated ability to execute design tasks and coordinate effectively in complex project environments;
5.Proficiency in architectural spatial planning and organization;
6.A solid understanding of architectural systems and design frameworks;
7.Ability to collaborate closely with clients and project teams, contribute proactively to design development, and lead or co-lead teams in delivering high-quality design outcomes;
8.Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written);
9.Proficiency in a range of architectural design software tools.
A complete portfolio including relevant technical drawings is required.

O 初级建筑设计师 Junior Architectural Designer

基本要求：
1. 优秀设计能力，对建筑艺术有执著的追求，具有优秀的方案创作能力和建筑构思创意，思维敏锐、活跃，保持进取的学习心态；
2. 建筑学本科及以上学历;
3．作为全职建筑设计师在专业领域拥有一年以上工作经验（不包含实习经验）；
4. 对建筑系统有基本常识性认知；
5. 责任心强，积极配合项目设计师/建筑师完成设计工作；
6. 英文和中文（普通话）能力兼具；
7. 熟练掌握各种设计软件。
作品集中可包含学生时代作品。

Basic Qualifications:
1.Strong design talent with a genuine passion for architecture; demonstrated conceptual creativity and design thinking; agile, curious, and self-motivated with a proactive learning mindset;
2.Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture;
3.Minimum of 1 year of full-time professional experience in architecture (excluding internships);
4.Foundational understanding of architectural systems and construction logic;
5.Highly responsible, with a collaborative attitude and the ability to support project architects/designers in executing design tasks;
6.Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written);
7.Proficiency in a range of architectural design software tools.
Portfolio may include student work.

O 建筑设计实习生 Architectural Design Intern

基本要求：
1. 优秀设计能力，对建筑艺术有执著的追求，具有优秀的方案创作能力和建筑构思创意，思维敏锐、活跃，保持进取的学习心态；
2. 建筑学本科在学及研究生在学学历;
3. 对建筑系统有基本常识性认知；

作品集中可包含学生时代作品。

Basic Qualifications:
1.Strong design ability with a deep passion for architecture; demonstrated creativity in conceptual and schematic design; intellectually agile, engaged, and eager to learn;
2.Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate architecture program;
3.Basic understanding of architectural systems and construction logic;
4.Highly responsible, with a collaborative mindset and willingness to support project architects and designers;
5.Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written);
6.Proficiency in a variety of architectural design software tools.
Portfolio may include academic work.

O 室內设计师 Interior Designer

基本要求：
1.建筑学、室内设计及相关专业本科以上学历，对设计有执著的追求，较强的审美能力，思维敏锐、活跃；
2.三年以上相关领域的工作经验；
3.在主创指导下有能力完成整套概念设计、方案设计、方案深化设计或施工图设计，对现场施工中的材料及节点问题有解决经验，完成从设计概念到落地施工流程的监督和控制；
4.对设备熟悉，具有根据项目特殊设计开发节点的能力。
5.掌握室内空间设计、软装设计的全案设计能力，并熟知室内设计的相关法律规范；
6.对设计工作有热情，高度的责任心，积极与团队及项目各专业沟通。
7.有良好的理解和沟通能力，较强的组织协调及解决问题的能力。
8.英文和中文（普通话）能力兼具；
9.熟练使用工程类、设计类工作软件
作品集中需包含必要的专业图纸。

Basic Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; strong passion for design, a refined aesthetic sensibility, and agile, creative thinking;
2.Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience;
3.Ability to independently deliver full interior design packages under the guidance of the lead designer, including concept development, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation; familiarity with on-site construction processes, detailing, and material resolution; capable of overseeing the design from concept through execution;
4.Familiarity with building systems and the ability to develop custom design solutions for project-specific technical challenges;
5.Comprehensive understanding of spatial design and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) coordination, with knowledge of applicable codes and interior design regulations;
6.Strong design enthusiasm, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate effectively within a team setting;
7.Excellent comprehension, communication, and problem-solving skills, with strong coordination capabilities;
8.Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written);
9.Proficiency in both architectural and interior design software tools.
The portfolio must include relevant technical drawings and documentation.
