未来原始人
future primitive

我曾听到过这样一种描述：我们都是“未来原始人”。大意是当今生活着的人，其实是在用原始人的身体，体验这个由现代科技发展所组成的世界——人类身体进化的过程，相比于人类文明在这几千年中的发展，是极其缓慢的，而文明的进化已然将我们的肢体经验完全颠覆。在这样一种颠覆中，建筑师（这群永远只能服从于技术变革的被动的“原始人”）也必将不能幸免：结构计算、消防规范、全光谱可变的照明、恒温恒湿的空调、绿色低碳、防火等级至上的材料，充斥在越来越千篇一律并感受失真的公共场所中。而这时，我们却想在这样的背景下，在当今人们已然再也无法离开的消费社会的代表空间（商场）中，造了一个飘着几朵云的石洞，并期待这种”原始奇观”给我的”未来原始人”们带来的身体体验。

I have heard a description that we are all “future primitives”.The general idea is that people living today are actually using primitive human bodies to experience the world formed by the development of modern technology—the process of human body evolution. Compared with the development of human civilization in these thousands of years, it is Extremely slow, and the evolution of civilization has turned our physical experience upside down. In such a subversion, architects (a group of passive “primitives” who can only submit to technological change) will not be spared: structural calculations, fire codes, full-spectrum variable lighting, constant temperature and humidity High-quality air-conditioning, green and low-carbon, and fire-resistant materials are flooded in public places that are becoming more and more homogeneous and feel distorted. At this time, we wanted to create a stone cave with a few clouds floating in the representative space (shopping mall) of today’s consumer society, which people can no longer leave, and look forward to this kind of “primitive” The physical experience that “Wonders” brought to my “future primitives”.

金属云

这确实是一个很高的空间（吊顶可以做到4.5米净高——现在，商业空间大都会把室内高度做的极其浪费，好让设备工程师用一大堆从不知道节省空间的空调和消防管子将上空的一半儿填满），高到可以让一个1米多厚的金属云在石窟中漂浮。这朵乌云我们一开始就很笃定，就像有了刀就要有叉子一样简单——它可以填充这个无聊的高度。有的时候，高度带来的也并不都是利好，而让人们能够在水平方向上对话，是符合这家板前寿司料理店的一些主张的——师傅用精湛的手艺将带有温度的寿司递到你的面前，关注食材并与人（师傅或者同伴）产生交流都需要一个相对平和的空间高度，这朵云，妥善的控制了我们的视线还有肢体的安定感。

This is indeed a very high space (the ceiling can achieve a clear height of 4.5 meters – now, commercial spaces are mostly wasteful of indoor height, so that equipment engineers can use a lot of air conditioning and fire protection that never know how to save space. The tube fills half of the sky above), high enough to allow a 1-meter-thick metal cloud to float in the grotto. This dark cloud we were sure about from the start was as simple as a knife and a fork – it fills this boring height. Sometimes, height is not all good, and allowing people to talk in a horizontal direction is in line with some of the propositions of this Itamae sushi restaurant-the chef uses exquisite craftsmanship to bring warm sushi. Handing it to you, paying attention to the ingredients and communicating with people (masters or companions) requires a relatively peaceful space height. This cloud properly controls our sight and the sense of stability of our limbs.

提灯笼的云

从室外看，这朵金属云同时成为面向公共界面的“奇观”，回应每个商业空间都不可或缺的视觉吸引力的一部份。云的中间悬浮着27个发光球，同事说从远处看，让她想起了《提灯笼的人》，我找来一对照，果然！我不知道是否有人会这么看待我们的设计工作，但这确实暗合了我的某些设计主张——调和这个时代的偏激（过分浮夸或过分严肃）与理智（过分严谨或者过分求真）；并充分扰动某些过于简化的思维方式所制造的观念怪象。

From the outside, this metallic cloud simultaneously becomes a “spectacle” facing the public interface, responding to an integral part of the visual appeal of every commercial space. There are 27 luminous balls suspended in the middle of the cloud. My colleague said that looking at it from a distance, it reminded her of “The Lantern Carrying Man”. I found a comparison, and sure enough! I don’t know if anyone sees our design work that way, but it does echo some of my design propositions – reconciling the extremes (too pompous or too serious) with the sane (too rigorous or too truthful) of this age; and Sufficiently perturb the conceptual monstrosity created by some oversimplified way of thinking.

石窟
grotto

石窟，是不可见的形式，是第二重景观。当人们愿意耐心的看上一会儿或者近距离接触墙面的时候，它才会显现出来。夯土的墙壁塑造了空间的体积，倾斜、弯折、高低错动的墙面、黑色的洞、在岩石上生长的枯树以及从地面上升起的吧台，都在烘托白色的用餐台面的清雅。光线透过云朵打在台面上，也被过滤到墙壁上，像石刻的壁画。

The grotto, the invisible form, is the second landscape. It will only show up when people are willing to watch patiently for a while or touch the wall at close range. The rammed earth wall shapes the volume of the space. The inclined, bent, and staggered walls, black holes, dead trees growing on the rocks, and the bar rising from the ground all enhance the elegance of the white dining table. The light hits the countertop through the clouds and is also filtered onto the walls, like a mural carved in stone.
