Appreciation towards R-land for providing the following description:

A地块位于公园的西北端，有几处现状林和一块杂草丛生的低洼地，只作为公园绿地得以保留，实际的使用功能并不存在。方案在此地块设计了主轴线和一条次轴线。如何在充分利用现状地形和植被的基础，提供一处投入小、获效大的市民活动场所成为此次公园改造设计的核心。

首先在主轴线和次轴线的交汇处，作为全园的视线焦点，在满足集散功能的基础上。设置了高12.6米的可登高远望的眺望台，同时又也起到四周的对景作用。广场延续了主轴线略显规整的序列空间，并通过三角形的转换，承载了次轴线的导向，在这里通透、明了、开敝，直接成为了空间的特质。

Firstly, the intersection of the main and secondary axis has been created to form the whole focus of the site. A viewing platform 12.6 metres in height will serve as a scenic focal point and fulfil the need for a meeting and distribution point. The square will continue to create the feeling of space around the main axis and the secondary axis will be guided in the transformation of a triangle giving the area clear and direct characteristics with a vision of open space.

其次，次轴线的两侧，在现状地形和植被的基础上，仅仅做了局部的抬高和小范围的降低，丰富空间的变化，并将原有的低洼地部分设计成复层动线，同时通过自然曲折的小园路将这些不同的小空间串联起来。局部点缀的旱生地被，相对开敞的草坡种植孤赏树，在这里，幽深、神秘、限定、间接成为空间的特质。

Secondly, based on the current status of the terrain and its planting and slight elevations on either side of the axis, adjustments have been made to enrich these changes in space. The original parts of low-lying land have been transformed into variably tiered areas fulfilling a need to connect small spaces by way of zigzagging footpaths in the park. Several kinds of xerophyte land cover plants have been utilised together with planting of isolated trees giving the impression of a deep and mysterious character through an indirect trait of space on the site.

规整的主轴线空间强调无序中的有序；微地形起伏，营造明暗，收放的空间变化；4处横跨低洼地的钢桥，构筑次轴线两侧的连动；穿插在洼地中的卵石矮墙及卵石铺地，寄托着乡土的无限情怀；散置在洼地中的旱生地被，丰富了四季的色彩和场所精神；北入口广场的条带种植及既存现状树林的保留，整然中的随意；中央广场周边的汀步碎石带，完成了向自然林带的过度；低洼处的自然水塘，时序演变的风向标。
