外部空间 | Exterior

本次设计的核心围绕着“舍近”两字，其一，坚持做正确的事而非容易的事情。所谓“舍近”，是我们的价值观；其二，舍与近，即空间与距离，通过对区域内的分割、建立，达到两者之间的协调连接。

The core of the design revolves around the word ‘She Jin (舍近)’. The first implication is that we insist on doing what is right rather than what is easy. This is also is our value; Second, ‘She (house)’ and ‘Jin(close)’, also represents space and distance. We achieve the coordinated connection between the two through the division and establishment of the region.

工作室位于杭州西湖区象山艺术公社内，园区内分布错落着的白色建筑群，远处山群重叠呼应，身置其中，感受着自然与建筑间的对话呼吸；

The studio is located in Xiangshan Art Commune, West Lake District, Hangzhou. This commune is dotted with white buildings and overlapping hills in the distance. We can feel the dialogue and breathing between nature and architecture.

入口以三面不同角度的片墙和错落阶梯组成，中央片墙凌空悬挂于园区原有墙体之上，与原有环境巧妙融合。通过三堵不同角度的片墙围合而成的蜿蜒路径，使原本直通无奇的入口变得连续流畅。

The entrance is made up of three walls and staggered steps at different angles. The central wall is hung on the original wall of the park, which skillfully integrates with the original environment. The winding path formed by three different angles of the wall makes the original straight-through entrance become continuous and smooth.

波纹不锈钢和红橙渐变亚克力组成微景观装置，意图“借光”，光线通过波纹不锈钢转化的水纹光映射到亚克力上，形成一湾“光”池。

Corrugated stainless steel as while as red and orange gradient acrylic form the micro landscape, intended to “borrow light”. Through the corrugated stainless steel, light is converted into water ripple light on the acrylic, forming a bay of “light” pool.

内部空间 | Interior

一层，第一部分 | Part 1 of the ground floor

一层空间以入口为轴心分为左、中、右三部分，一条长纽带连接起右侧各个盒子体块，各个功能体块以不同的穿插组合形式立于地台纽带之上。

The ground floor is divided into left, middle and right parts centering on the entrance. A long link connects the blocks on the right. The different functional blocks stand on the platform with different interspersed combination forms.

材料展示区置于入口的一侧，采用桦木板和铁板组合出各种不同的分割方式，以便放置各种规格的材料

The material display area is placed on one side of the entrance. It uses birch wood and iron panels in a combination of different segmentation methods to place various sizes of materials;

以阶梯形式作为沙龙区的呈现方式，在内侧的一节踏步穿墙而出与相连的楼梯间呼应，功能上可作为搁置咖啡等饮品的台面；

The ladder form is the presentation of the salon area. A staircase on the inner side breaks through the wall and echoes the adjoining stairwell. In function, it can also be used as a table for coffee and other drinks;

沙龙区拾级而上，结束于尾端的一扇玻璃，踏步延伸至玻璃，远看似阶梯无止尽。

The salon area steps up and ends at a glass at the end. The steps extend to the glass, seemingly endless.

一层，第二部分 | Part 2 of the ground floor

水吧台为一层空间的轴心，以原始的两根承重柱为基础，巧妙延申为中央水吧台装置功能区，是新与旧的继承与发展；通过水吧台倾斜的方式解决了视觉上地面高低差的问题，让吧台看起来悬浮于两处地面之上；

The water bar is the axis of the space on the first floor, based on the original two bearing columns, cleverly extended as the central water bar installation functional area. This reflects the inheritance and development of the new and the old. The tilt of the water bar solves the problem of the difference in the height of the ground visually, making the bar appear to be suspended on the two ground.

设计师将两根钢柱围合成一个长方形体块穿插于吧台之上，为了避免闭塞，体块内又开了两条细长裂缝，该体块似整非整，增加呼吸通透之感。

Two steel columns are enclosed to form a rectangular block that is inserted into the bar. In order to avoid occlusion, two slender cracks were opened inside the block. The block looks both complete and incomplete, which can increase the sense of breathing permeability

在材质上我们做了新的尝试，柱子内部附上灯光，外加红橙渐变亚克力，再加一层磨砂亚克力，朦胧中透出渐变色的光，用委婉的方式表达色彩。

New attempts have been made on materials. The interior of the column is illuminated with red and orange gradient acrylic as while as a layer of frosted acrylic. This makes hazy in the light of gradual change, which makes it possible to express color in a euphemistic way.

一层，第三部分 | Part 3 of the ground floor

左侧的会客区、沿窗展示区、独立办公区及小型绿植景观区形成了一个连续体，流畅自然；

On the left side, the reception area, window display area, independent office area and small green landscape area form a continuum, which is smooth and natural.

三片高低不等的穿孔铝板组成了景观台，与入口的三片墙形成呼应。临窗采用竖向百叶帘，通过百叶帘过滤的光线朦胧柔，同时演绎出了不同的艺术光影。

A trio of perforated aluminium panels, varying in height, form a landscape terrace, which acts in harmony with the three walls of the entrance. Vertical blinds are used against the window. The light filtered through the blinds is hazy and soft thus different artistic light and shadow are deduced at the same time

二层区域 | The second floor

办公区域设置在二层，主要划分为两个区域：工作及休闲，希望创建一个共享场景。白石子铺满室外露台，纯净的户外区域用绿植点缀，模拟自然的生态；

The office area is set on the second floor, which is mainly divided into two areas: work and leisure, hoping to create a shared environment. White stones covered the outdoor terrace. The pure outdoor area is dotted with green plants to simulate the natural ecology

隔而不断，透而不闭是休闲区的主旨，以建筑感的体块旋转斜插打破原始空间的平整，桦木板柜体充当收纳及微型水吧的功能；保留原始建筑的斜顶形式并做了高低递进的关系处理，悬挂的条形灯及增设的灯光膜处理保证办公区的照明。

Interval but do not interrupt, transparent but not closed is the main idea of leisure area. The rotating oblique insertion of the architectural block breaks the flatness of the original space. The birch wooden cabinet serves as a storage and miniature water bar. The inclined roof form of the original building was retained and the relationship between height and elevation was processed. Hanging strip lights and additional light film processing ensure the lighting of the office area.
