Appreciation towards Nottdesign for providing the following description:

外形简洁的RA台灯鼓励使用者与它互动。当被置于水平方向时，台灯将被关闭。而顺时针旋转灯杆，灯光将打开。随着角度增加逐渐变亮，到垂直方向时达到最大亮度。用户可以灵活的调节灯杆位置，以营造最喜欢的气氛和亮度。

设计师希望创造一个可以和人体运动形成互动的物体。打开台灯的过程不仅需要手的活动，还需要用到整个手臂和肩膀的力量。不仅如此，台灯的运动还让人想起太阳在天空中的轨迹——升的越高，它发出的光线越发明亮。

RA is a table lamp of simple forms which invites you to interact while switching it on. In horizontal position, the lamp is off and when you start to rotate the tube clockwise the light is switching on and begins to brighten up until the brightest point in which the tube stands vertically. You can stop the movement in any position you like to create more calm atmosphere or switch on the light properly to lighten the room.

We wanted to create an object that involves movement of your body into the interaction process. To switch on this lamp you have to not only move your hand and wrist but to use all your arm and shoulder. Also, the movement of the lamp reminds of the sun path in the sky — the higher it stands the brighter it becomes.
