独克宗古城的地形和松赞林寺很像，松赞林寺的下方建筑是四方来的僧侣休息的宿舍，而独克宗古城中心的大佛寺下是信徒，居民，外地来谋生计的客人。

The terrain of the ancient city of Dukezong is very similar to that of Songzanlin Temple. The buildings below Songzanlin Temple are dormitories for monks who come from all directions to rest, while the large Buddhist temple in the center of Dukezong ancient city is home to believers, residents, and guests who come from other places to make a living.

第一次在项目地址上看向大佛寺，顿然感觉下面的建筑就像是飘在山腰上的云，只是每一片云里面都有不同的烟火。

The first time I looked at the Big Buddha Temple at the project site, I suddenly felt that the buildings below were like clouds floating on the mountainside, except that each cloud contained different fireworks.

总体设计上把室内的房型做得很轻盈，让居住体验到漂浮感，仿佛躺在一块柔软的棉花上看向山顶。

Overall, the interior design is made very light and airy, giving the living experience a floating feeling, as if lying on a soft piece of cotton and looking towards the mountaintop.

这里是古茶马古道的途径点，大堂是在原有的院子里面加建的，和半开放的过厅连在一起，结合本地回收的石头，松木板等材料做出了一个歇马饮茶的空间。

This is the passing point of the ancient Tea Horse Road. The lobby was added to the original courtyard and connected to the semi open passage. Combining locally recycled materials such as stones and pine boards, a space for resting horses and drinking tea was created.

建筑场地空间有限，几乎三面都是和邻居接壤，通道开窗是恰到好处的避免相互打扰，但是把外的旧有面貌呈现在过道之中。

The space of the construction site is limited, and almost all three sides are adjacent to neighbors. Opening windows in the passage is just right to avoid mutual disturbance, but it presents the old appearance of the outside in the passage.

人的游走代替了云的飘忽，通过云的变化的的间隙透出去看到外面的一隅，就像室内的开窗恰到好处的把外面的部分景观和室内做好了融合。

The wandering of people replaces the drifting of clouds, and through the gaps of cloud changes, one can see out and see a corner of the outside world, just like an indoor window that perfectly blends the outside landscape with the interior.

楼顶做了20平米左右的预约制私房餐厅，在靠近大佛寺的同时俯瞰整个古城。

A reserved private restaurant of about 20 square meters has been built on the rooftop, overlooking the entire ancient city while being close to the Great Buddha Temple.
