Appreciations towards House of Baby for providing the following description:

Bánh Bánh餐厅被构想为一件统一的艺术作品——绘画、建筑、雕塑、食物与表演在其中被视作同等重要的材料，共同构成一个单一的空间构图。

Bánh Bánh, Brixton is conceived as a unified artwork where painting, architecture, sculpture, food and performance are treated as equal materials within a single spatial composition.

项目并非复制熟悉的审美范式，而是汲取文化转译的原则，通过House of Baby的艺术实践重新诠释越南城市建筑、现代主义与象征传统中的理念。其结果是，空间令人感到似曾相识，却又难以归入任何一种单一的视觉语言。

Rather than reproducing familiar aesthetics, the project draws on the principles of cultural translation, reinterpreting ideas found within Vietnamese urban architecture, modernism and symbolic traditions through House of Baby’s artistic practice. The result is a space that feels recognisable yet difficult to locate within any single visual language.

建筑狭长的平面催生了一组精心编排的发现序列——从铺贴瓷砖的神龛和弧形玻璃砖墙开始，逐渐展开为手绘壁画、雕塑与私密的用餐空间。在整个餐厅中， motifs在不同尺度和媒介中反复出现。物件同时以绘画、陶瓷、建筑细部和菜肴的形式呈现，在微观与宏观之间创造持续的对话。

The long, narrow plan of the building informed a choreographed sequence of discovery, unfolding gradually from a tiled shrine and curved glass block wall to hand-painted frescoes, sculptures and intimate dining spaces. Throughout the restaurant, motifs recur across different scales and media. Objects appear simultaneously as paintings, ceramics, architectural details and dishes, creating a continuous dialogue between the micro and the macro.

木材、石灰抹灰、玻璃砖、金属箔、氧化铁、矿物颜料、沙子和贝壳粉等材料，与食物本身共同构成一个统一的材料调色板。从建筑与照明到菜单与表演，每一个元素都是作为一个相互关联的整体构图的一部分而开发，而非作为独立的专业领域。

Materials including timber, lime plaster, glass block, metal leaf, iron oxide, mineral pigments, sand and powdered shell are brought together with food itself as part of a single material palette. Every element, from the architecture and lighting to the menu and performance, was developed as part of one interconnected composition rather than as separate disciplines.

该项目通过House of Baby扩展的艺术实践得以实现，延续了工作室正在进行的研究方向——绘画即建筑、餐厅即剧场，以及创造沉浸式环境作为完整的艺术世界而存在，而非传统款待空间的室内设计。

Developed through House of Baby’s expanded fine art practice, the project continues the studio’s ongoing research into painting as architecture, restaurants as theatre, and the creation of immersive environments that exist as complete artistic worlds rather than conventional hospitality interiors.
