在这个时代，人们倾注大量精力于创造新的建筑形象，并在建筑的每一个角落追求复杂性（可谓又一个后现代时期），而我们的初衷，是设计一座能够融入周围环境，同时唤起静谧而微妙兴奋感的建筑。

In an era where energy is devoted to creating new architectural images and infusing complexity into every corner of a building (which could be described as another postmodern age), our intention was to design a building that would blend with its surroundings while evoking a sense of quiet excitement.

项目用地位于一个典型的住宅街区，邻里的房屋大多楼层适中，尺度亲切宜人。尽管这些住宅外观朴素低调，但这种居住美学已深深植根于日本街区的肌理之中。

The small site is located in a typical residential neighbourhood, where most neighbouring homes are of modest height, integrating into the human scale. Despite their seemingly plain and unassuming appearance, the residential aesthetic of these Japanese neighbourhoods is deeply embedded within the fabric of the environment.

随着项目的推进，业主的功能需求逐步演变。通过对场地的深入研究与多轮设计推敲，最终确立了方案：二层作为私人办公室与工作室，一层则设为无障碍住宅单元，方便家庭成员独立生活。

The client’s programmatic needs evolved over time. Through our studies of the site and design iterations, the final program emerged: a private office and studio on the second floor, with the ground floor dedicated to an accessible living unit, allowing family members to live independently.

在设计过程中，我们不断探索，力求在满足业主需求的基础上，创造一座真诚且具有“超级普通”气质、亲和可接近的建筑。虽然这种建筑表面上看似简洁，但我们观察到，近年来日本的新建住宅往往趋于封闭，与风、光、声音等外部环境隔绝。因此，我们希望在两层木结构、现成窗户和严格防火规范等条件限制下，创造一种温暖且富有新意的建筑类型。为此，我们在设计中融入了露台空间、天窗、不同材质肌理以及隐藏式门扇等微妙而富有趣味的元素。

We studied the site and explored multiple design options to meet the client’s requirements while creating honest architecture with a “super-ordinary” and approachable appearance. Although such architecture may appear simple, we observed that recent residential buildings in Japan are highly enclosed, isolating themselves from external elements like wind, light, and sound. With this in mind, we aimed to create a warm and new typology, working within the constraints of a two-story timber structure, off-the-shelf windows, and strict fire regulations. To achieve this, we incorporated subtle, playful elements such as terrace spaces, skylights, different textures, and hidden doors.

最终，建筑呈现为三个彼此独立的塔楼体量，每一座塔楼对应不同的功能空间。从街道一侧望去，”私人塔”（Private Tower）内部设有隔音工作室与卫浴；”静谧塔”（Peaceful Tower）配置了书房与卧室；而”眺望塔”（Watch Tower）则设有客厅与会客室，可俯瞰一片郁郁葱葱的花园。

The result is a building divided into three distinct, independent towers, each reflecting the different functions housed within. From the street side, the “Private Tower” contains a soundproof studio and a bathroom; the “Peaceful Tower” houses a study and bedroom; and the “Watch Tower” features a living room and meeting room, offering views of the lush garden.
