中企未来世纪大厦位于上海黄浦江东岸，西侧毗邻洋泾港码头及粮仓文创建筑群，是陆家嘴金融城北岸的重要商务节点。浦东滨江绿道自脚下穿过，杨浦大桥构成了建筑的背景。

The project is located on the east bank of the Huangpu River in Shanghai, adjacent to the Yangjinggang Wharf and Granary Cultural Creation Group on the west side. It is an important business node on the north bank of Lujiazui Financial Town. The Pudong Riverside Greenway passes through the foot, and the Yangpu Bridge constitutes the background of the building.

依据原规划条件，基地北侧地块将建设24米高的建筑，后续会对黄浦江景产生遮挡；南侧跨河而起的昌邑路引桥也对基地产生了挤压。释放首层空间、实现景观最大化成为了该项目设计之初的既定目标。

According to the original planning conditions, a 24-meter-high building will be built on the north side of the site, which will block the Huangpu River view in the future; Changyi Road Bridge across the river on the south side has also squeezed the site. Releasing the Ground floor space and maximizing the landscape became the established goal of the project design.

为了在高密度的城市里提供给使用者更广阔的城市景观界面，设计师决定设计两栋独立的办公塔楼，而不是一栋，来获得更多的视野面。建筑自上而下，依50米限高向下排列形体。同时设置结构夹层，用伸臂桁架上托下吊，把所有竖向力都通过核心筒传递至地下。在最大化江景视野的同时，使得首层空间与城市、绿地充分衔接，以一种开放的姿态融入周边。

In order to provide users with a broader urban landscape interface in high-density city, two independent office towers instead of one are designed to obtain more visual surfaces. Building shape is arranged from top to bottom according to a height limit of 50 meters. At the same time, a structural mezzanine is set up, which is supported by an extending arm truss and suspended from above and below, so that all vertical forces are transmitted through the core tube to underground. While maximizing the river view, it fully connects the ground floor with the city and green space, and integrates into the surrounding area in an open posture.

独特的结构形式使得建筑首层实现了无柱的空间效果，8.5米高的超白玻璃幕墙进一步加强了建筑首层的开放性和透明性，也在形式上将两栋漂浮的办公楼形象做到了极致。除了首层大堂外，每一个标准层都是围绕核心筒的环形大空间，总共八根立柱，每个立面仅有两根立柱，完全实现了角部无柱的270度观景空间。这是一次形式追随功能的范例，所有的结构形式都服务于视野和空间开放性。

The unique structural form makes it possible for the first floor of the building to achieve a column-free space effect. The 8.5-meter-high ultra-white glass curtain wall further enhances the openness and transparency of the first floor of the building, and also achieves an extreme image of two floating office buildings in form. In addition to the lobby on the first floor, the standard floor is a large circular space around the structure core, with a total of eight columns. There are only two columns by each side, achieving a 270-degree viewing space without columns at corners. This is an example of form following function. All structural forms serve vision and spatial openness.

立面的弧形轮廓通过平板玻璃拟合而成，竖向装饰杆件起到部分遮阳作用，尺寸依日照角度而变化，营造出优美、灵动的光影韵律。建筑立面在材料和构造的表达上竭尽克制，力图凸显建筑原本形式感，强化上下体量的变化和材质肌理的对比。

The curved contour of the facade is fitted by flat glass. The vertical decorative rods play a partial shading role, and their size changes according to sunlight angles, creating beautiful and dynamic light and shadow rhythms. The expression of materials and structures on building facades is restrained as much as possible, striving to highlight the original form sense of buildings, strengthen changes in upper and lower volumes and contrasts in material textures.
