“林中小屋”位于轻井泽，是一座为住在东京都市圈的四口之家设计的周末度假屋。家庭成员们对这片地区很熟悉，大多数的假期他们都会选择在附近的旅馆度过。最终，他们决定在树林中建造自己的度假屋，一个约70㎡的供四口之家使用的家庭套间成为他们周末度假的最佳去处。

A “Home Around the Forest” is a weekend house in Karuizawa for a couple with two children living in central Tokyo. The family was familiar with the area, and they stayed many holidays in hotels nearby. Finally, they decided that they wanted their own hotel room in the forest, a 70sqm suite for a family of four to make the most of their holidays.

YSLA的设计师们希望最大限度地提高一家人在这所房子里度过的时间质量。为此，建筑师需要他们从城市生活中慢下来，与大自然重新建立联系，这样他们就能从技术中解脱出来。建筑师们希望他们能够不受拘束的感受自然，在林中感受自然的氛围，获得更好的居住体验。众所周知，在森林中漫步可以提升创造力、增强免疫力、减轻压力，换句话说就是，它帮助你实现拉丁谚语中所说的“健全的心灵寓于健康的身体”。

In YSLA we wanted to maximize the time quality that the family would spend in the house. For this, we needed them to slow down from the city life and reconnect with nature so they could unplug from technology. We fancy them to feel wide, feel better, to live around the forest, taking in its atmosphere. It’s known that walking around the forest can upgrade creativity, boost immunity, and diminish stress in other words; it helps you to achieve the Latin proverb “a healthy mind in a healthy body”.

为了实现这一连接，建筑师在森林周围建造了一座 70 平米的房子，房子的走廊延伸至森林，并将森林作为一个延伸部分。森林成为起居室的一部分；室内和室外之间的界限变得不复存在，给人以开阔舒适之感。一家人可以尽情享受大自然，可以散步、跑步、骑自行车，或者像不久前练习的那样练习控球。假期结束后，一家人可以回到东京，感受他们一起度过的健康、平衡和充满快乐的日子。

To achieve this connection, we build a 70sqm house around the forest, a house in which its corridor extends to the forest and embrace it as an extension. The forest became part of the living room; the line between interior and exterior became inexistant we can then feel wide, feel better. The family can enjoy the totality of its nature, they can walk, run, bike, or as my soon did practice ball control. At the end of their holidays the family can go back to Tokyo feeling they had a healthy, balanced, and full of happiness days together.
