Lars grows up by the sea and his photographic works have developed a close relationship with the ocean. His work is inspired by science fiction topics or motifs such as the feeling of abandonment and unfamiliar desolate environments. He is looking for structures that stand out from their surroundings as strange or unnatural. Such huge chunks are like spaceships. They are living with human beings and is always waiting for a long voyage.
