万科前海国际会议中心，又名特区馆，集前海会展交易、新闻发布、外事接待、金融交易展示等功能于一体，是前海的“名片”，也是前海的“客厅”，同时将成为前海的一处地标性建筑。

Vanke (Qianhai) International Convention Center, which is also called Special Zone Pavilion, it contains functions of Qianhai exhibition transaction, news release, foreign exchange activities, financial transactions exhibition and so on, it is the “visiting card” and “living room” of Qianhai, and it will become a landmark building of Qianhai at the same time.

开发背景：
为了满足企业进驻前海合作区办公的迫切需求，前海管理局借鉴美国硅谷经验，采用BOT等模式，启动企业公馆、交易大厅、会议中心及临时生态园的建设，打造未来前海工作和生活方式的“体验区”。

项目定位——前海客厅
万科前海国际会议中心是深圳前海万科企业公馆中的大型公建项目。
品牌定位：前海（临时）深港国际会展交易发布中心
形象定位：前海名片、前海窗口
功能定位：前海高规格会展中心, 前海重大新闻发布厅

项目概况：总建筑面积   约为11075平米，含交易办公面积约3000平米、商业办公面积约1700平米、会议中心约1700平米以及新闻发布大厅1500等。会议中心南侧还设置一个约2300平米、14米高的灰空间，形成他和企业馆的过度地带，并可进行各种大型展览活动。

Development background:
In order to meet the urgent demands of enterprises on working in Qianhai Cooperation Zone, Qianhai Authority learns from experiences of Silicon Valley, uses patterns of BOT and so on to start the construction of enterprise mansions, trading floor, conference center and temporary ecological garden, thus to construct “experience zone” of working and living modes in Qianhai in the future.

Project overview: The gross building area is about 11075 square meters, including about 3000 square meters of trading office area, about 1700 square meters of commercial office area, about 1700 square meters of conference center and 1500 square meters of the news conference hall and so on. There is also a gray space with the area of 2300 square meters and 14 meters high on the south side of conference center, which forms a transition space between enterprise pavilion and it, all kinds of large-scale exhibition activities can be carried out in it.

前海之钻——钻石切割面的产生
建筑的概念来源于蕴藏在石头中的钻石，借以表达前海通过几十年的磨练，即将成为深圳乃至珠三角区域的璀璨新城。

建筑概念：
概念来源于蕴藏在石头中的钻石，借以表达前海通过几十年的磨练，即将成为深圳乃至珠三角区域的璀璨新城。整个建筑是在原石上经过人工切割的“钻石”雕塑，显露出来的玻璃幕墙部分是不同角度切割面的“钻石”，显现出晶莹剔透的建筑质感。“石头”部分通过冰裂纹肌理的铝板来表达“石头”的质感。建筑主体灯光与建筑结合为一体，平时是建筑外表皮的一部分，晚上变成三角形的点灯，形成科幻、梦幻的灯光效果。

The concept of construction comes from diamond, which is contained in stones, so as to show that Qianhai will become the dazzling new city in Shenzhen, even the Pearl River Delta Region through decades of temper.

Architectural concept:
The concept comes from diamond, which is contained in stones, so as to show that Qianhai will become the dazzling new city in Shenzhen, even the Pearl River Delta Region through decades of temper. The whole construction is the “diamond” sculpture based on the raw gemstone with manual cutting, and the exposed part of glass curtain wall is “diamonds” with different angles of cut surfaces, which show the translucent texture of construction. The “stone” part expresses the texture of stone by aluminum plates with cracked ice crackle. The lamplight of main building is combined with construction as a whole, it is a part of the architecture surface at ordinary times, and it becomes the triangular point light in the evening, thus to form science-fiction and dreamlike lighting effects.

建筑立面

建筑立面用深灰色的铝板来表现包裹钻石的外皮，外层肌理看似不规则，实则是通过几个标准的模块组合形成的冰裂纹效果。整个建筑外立面的洞口及窗口则都是在单元模块的规则下去开设，正是通过这种标准的模块单元设计，单元模块可以在工厂大量的预制生产，使建筑在工期非常紧张的情况下，在快速推进项目的同时，还能保证建筑的品质。

Architectural surface

Architectural surface uses dark grey aluminum plates to express skin which covers the diamond, outer texture seems to be irregular, and in fact it is the cracked ice crackle effect formed by combination of several standard modules. Holes and windows of the whole architectural surface are set under regulations of unit module, and unit module can be prefabrication produced largely in factories just through this kind of standard unit module design, which ensures quality of constructions, as well as promotes the project quickly under the tense time limit of construction.

灯光设计：灯光与建筑的结合

用铝板其中的一个单元，起翘作为灯箱，在白天，它只是微微翘起的铝板，是活跃造型的一个元素，而到了夜晚，它化身成点点星光，让整个建筑变成一座梦幻般的城堡。

Lighting design: the combination of lamplight and construction

Using one unit of aluminum plates to warp as the light box, in daytime, it is only a slightly warped aluminum plate, an element to active shapes, and in night, it changes into starlight, makes the whole construction become a dreamlike castle.

城市肌理：

前海企业公馆作为前海未来的缩影和展示窗口，以兼具逻辑性和丰富性的规划肌理力求形成前海片区新的城市文脉。强调公共价值最大化的理念，使前海企业公馆成为现代企业充分展示其企业公民意识的平台。

万科前海国际会议中心作为整个办公区域的最大的公共建筑，它应该呈现出怎样的面貌？

会议中心用地将城市主干道与办公组团分隔开来，设计延续原有规划步行轴线，延伸至项目的地块，试图建立起城市道路与办公组团之间的联系，再将会议中心的公共空间设立在这些主要的步行轴线上，强化它的公共性，鼓励市民的参与，将公共空间的作用得到最大的发挥。

Urban texture:

As the future epitome and presentation window of Qianhai, Qianhai enterprise mansions try to form new urban context of Qianhai area with planning texture of logicality and richness. Emphasizing the idea of maximized public value, which makes Qianhai enterprise mansions become platforms that modern enterprises fully display their corporate citizenship.

As the biggest public building in the whole office zone, what face shall Vanke (Qianhai) International Convention Center present? Convention center land separates urban main roads and office groups, the design continues walking axes in original planning, extends to the location of project, and tries to build connection between urban main roads and office groups, then sets public space of convention center on these main walking axes, enhances its publicity and encourages citizens to participate, then leverages the function of public space to most.

建筑概念——形体生成
将场地人流经过的地方切角，形成步行轴线的延续；在主入口位置拿出一块三角形，形成由外向内过渡的一个灰空间；在建筑内部挖出一块作为办公及会议的采光庭院，由此形成建筑的整个形态。

Architectural concept- form-creation
Making corner cut on places that site people pass by to form continuation of walking axes; Taking a triangle in position of main entrance to form a gray space transited from outside to inside; Digging a part inside the building as lighting courtyard of office and meeting, thus to form the whole shape of the building.

公共空间营造
整栋大楼的灰空间、大堂、庭院均与组团的步行轴及景观轴产生了很好的呼应关系，鼓励公众参与到建筑当中来。实现公共空间最大价值。
在建筑中注重公共空间的营造，设计的灰空间、内庭院、及建筑内部大堂、侧厅等公共功能空间，可用于举办大型的展览、集会、新闻发布会、室外演出等活动。提高市民的参与度，实现公共空间价值最大化。

Public space creation
Gray space, lobby and courtyard of the whole building generates very good responding relationship with walking axes and landscape axes of groups, which encourages the masses to participate in the building and realize the maximum value of public space.
Focusing on the creation of public space in construction, the designed public function space of gray space, inner courtyard and lobby, wing inside the building and so on can be used to hold large-scale exhibitions, assemblies, press conferences, outdoor activities and so on. Improving the participation of citizens and realizing the maximum value of public space.

功能布置

会议中心包含兼具展览及新闻发布厅等功能的大堂服务空间、会议中心、交易办公四大功能块。我们通过设置一个侧厅将新闻发布大厅、会议中心、交易办公三大块进行串联，新闻发布大厅及会议中心的人流均经过侧厅组织，侧厅与新闻发布大厅通过折叠门的方式可分可合，在有大型展销功能需要时，可以将这两部分功能作为一个整体的展场来运营。而位于北侧的交易办公则拥有自己独立的对外主入口，每层依然能通过侧厅的楼梯与会议及新闻发布大厅相连。通过这样的方式，使这几个部分功能相互独立又相互联系。

Function allocation

Convention center contains four functional blocks of lobby service space with the function of exhibition and press conference hall, convention center and trading office. Three blocks of press conference hall, convention center and trading office are connected by setting a wing, the people flow of press conference and convention center are organized through the wing, the wing and press conference hall can be integrated and divided with the form of accordion door, functions of the two parts can be treated as a whole exhibition to operate when there are requirements on function of large-scale sales exhibition. While trading office in the north has its own independent main entrance, each floor can be connected with press conference hall and convention center through stairs of wing. In this way, these functions are independent and yet connective to each other.
