Yantai, located in the northeast of China’s Shandong Province, is one of the country’s key coastal open cities. As an integral part of the Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone, Yantai has achieved remarkable progress in urban development in recent years, leveraging its advantageous geographical location, abundant natural resources, and rich cultural heritage. As a vital hub city in the Bohai Economic Rim, the development of transportation infrastructure has been a key focus of Yantai’s urban construction. Yantai Penglai International Airport has become an important aviation gateway in Shandong Province.
