Rockpool 是一座为多代同堂家庭打造的海滨住宅，业主与阿沃卡海滩的自然环境有着深厚的情感联系。住宅巧妙融入周边环境，坐落于丛林与海滩之间，可同时欣赏广阔的海景与林地景观。建筑沿着倾斜地势向上展开，立面上精心设置的开口将周围景观框入室内视野。设计在开放与私密之间取得平衡，通过不同尺度的空间营造人与土地、天空和海洋之间紧密而自然的联系。

Rockpool is a coastal family retreat designed for a multi-generational family with a strong connection to the landscape of Avoca Beach. The house blends naturally into its surroundings, set between the bush and the beach with expansive views of both the ocean and the landscape. The building rises along the sloping site, while carefully placed openings in the façade frame views of the surrounding scenery. The design balances open and sheltered spaces, creating a close connection to the land, the sky, and the sea.

建筑所采用的材料充分展现了光线、肌理与体量之间的互动关系，并随着一天中光线变化不断呈现出不同的空间体验。外部种植与带顶棚的露台将室内外空间自然衔接，使居住者能够真正融入自然环境。住宅充分考虑海岸环境的挑战，能够抵御严苛的气候条件，同时通过受到保护的户外空间，在保持与自然环境直接联系的同时提供舒适的使用体验。

The materials were selected to highlight the relationship between light, texture, and form, allowing the spaces to change with the movement of the sun throughout the day. Planting and covered terraces create a smooth transition between the interior and the exterior, helping residents feel closely connected to nature. The house is designed to withstand the harsh coastal climate, with protected outdoor spaces that provide comfort while maintaining a direct connection to the surrounding environment.

该项目是设计团队与业主密切合作的成果，充分回应了场地特质，并进一步提升了家庭的生活品质。项目始终贯彻可持续设计理念，并充分考虑场地条件与建设限制，最终打造出一处宁静、坚固且富有韧性的海滨居所，在彰显独特场地精神的同时，也为家庭提供了持久而舒适的生活环境。

This project is the result of close collaboration between the design team and the clients. It responds to the unique character of the site while enhancing the family’s way of living. Sustainability guided the design process, and careful attention was given to the site’s conditions and constraints. The result is a calm, durable, and resilient coastal retreat that celebrates its setting and provides lasting comfort for the family.

Rockpool demonstrates innovation by bringing architecture and landscape together to create a resilient home that responds to its coastal setting.
