建筑为英国上世纪古典住宅，项目内容是私人办公室改造。改造工程在保留原有建筑外形及内部结构的前提下，拆除了部分墙壁来创造更宽敞的内部空间，用钢结构来提高老建筑的稳固性。新加的隔墙全部采用灵活的设计，通透的玻璃墙壁使建筑获得充分的内部采光。可推拉的隔断便于室内空间的灵活组合。承重墙上的木门，壁炉及老式楼梯围栏等一些原有的建筑部件被保留。办公区采用木质地板，走廊使用瓷砖，设计师希望通过不同的地板材质铺装来区分公共区域和办公区域。建筑内部色调俏皮活泼，钢梁也配合室内色调涂成不同颜色，明亮的玻璃隔墙与深沉的老式木门形成强烈的对比。原有墙壁拆除后的痕迹裸露在外，更增加了一种奇妙的体验，它似乎在用这些独有的痕迹为我们讲述一个时代更替的故事。

The project is an office transformation of a classic architecture in Great Britain. The surface and the main structure are maintained while some of the partitions are removed to create spacious inner spaces. In addition, new girders are placed to enhance the old structure. The initiate partitions are designed flexible and removable in order to compose multiple working spaces, and the glass material lets in natural lights. Some of the old elements are reserved such as the wood door on the main wall, fireworks and the stair railing. Different pavements are used to distinguish the public corridor and the private offices. The vivid palette and the old elements forms a strong comparison. The old imprints are exposed to reveal a unique feeling, as if telling a story of time changes.
