游戏运营商Birdies与建筑和品牌设计工作室Shed展开合作，再度将“疯狂高尔夫”的概念推至高潮。继Battersea场馆开业以来，Shed事务所又为Birdies打造了新的Angel体验馆，其中包括一个前所未有的9洞高尔夫球场，总面积达到500平方米。

Birdies and design, architecture and brand studio, Shed, team up for a second time to blow the doors off the concept of crazy golf with the opening of its new Angel venue in London in July 2022. Following on from the opening of its Battersea outpost, Shed has designed the interiors and developed the brand for the games operator’s latest golf experience, the first North of the river, with a brand-new 9-hole course at a 500m2 venue.

Birdies Angel Central is a world of surprise and illusion, where each of the 9 holes have been designed to open a door on a different aspect of Birdies’ distinct world of illuminance chaos. Surreal and playful, each hole presents a challenging terrain and uses a kaleidoscope of colour to create a thoroughly immersive sensory experience like no other.

Lighting design is integral to the overall experience, with exaggerated colours, movement, and a constant dark-to-light shift that draws people along this immersive landscape golf course. Each hole has illumination of varying types with tracks, spots and feature suspension working harmoniously with colour changes, speeds, transitions and pulses. Lighting is strategically angled to draw focus to the design and add to the playful, fun vibe to heighten the overall visual experience.

The centre-piece is the neon pink bar, known as the venue’s 10th hole! Designed to emit a warm, pink glow to entice punters for a well-deserved drink after play, this socialising space is a welcome sight whether people win or lose.
