Ochre in the morning light, apricot by midday, dazzling pink at dusk, the geology of the Grand Staircase-Escalante couldn’t be more dramatic. Residing in 600 acres of the Colorado Plateau, and requiring an Act of Congress to be passed so it could be built here, Amangiri blends into countless untouched square miles of red rock country. In the last remnant of the truly wild West, this ‘mountain of peace’ is cradled by the greatest concentration of national parks in the United States – a staggering landscape of canyons, mesas, mountains, gorges, rapids and desert, with traces of human life dating back more than 10,000 years. In this grand theatre of nature, the modernist Suites of Amangiri and the tented Pavilions of nearby Camp Sarika offer an inspiring welcome to one of the world’s most dramatically secluded settings.

At the heart of the Grand Circle region, Amangiri is within easy reach of some of North America’s most magnificent protected areas, including the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and Monument Valley Tribal Park, home of the Navajo Nation. Occupying 243 hectares of this starkly beautiful landscape, Amangiri is as much a gateway to adrenaline-fuelled outdoor adventure as it is to the rich cultural heritage of the Navajo.

With five national parks and the Navajo Nation Reservation in its immediate proximity Camp Sarika is a unique entry point into the wilds of the Old West, with guided desert and mountain hikes on its own trail system, a programme of slot canyon expeditions and a bespoke Sarika via ferrata route. At night, the campfire blazes into life, and residents gather for storytelling sessions beneath the vast star-shimmering sky.

Camp Sarika tented Pavilions

A five-minute drive across the desert from Amangiri, Camp Sarika’s collection of 10 elegant and spacious one- and two-bedroom pavilions elevate the wilderness experience to one of peerless comfort and privacy. Complementing the clean lines and natural material palette of Amangiri’s suites, the generously proportioned pavilions each have indoor living and dining areas, as well oversized terraces with fire pits and heated plunge pools.

Amangiri Suites

Spacious and with clean lines and natural materials, the Suites reflect the luminous qualities of the surrounding Utah desert. Accommodation design features include white stone floors, concrete walls, natural timbers and fittings in blackened steel. Each Suite has an outdoor lounge and fireplace with expansive desert views, while some feature a private pool or roof terrace.

Secluded by a rock escarpment and surrounded by 600 acres of undeveloped land, the four-bedroom Mesa Home offers consummate privacy just minutes from the resort. It has been designed to complement the rugged beauty of the Grand Circle Region, with a pared-back aesthetic and muted palette. A 50-foot infinity pool is set into an expansive stone terrace.

Presenting sustainable, seasonal menus inspired by the culinary heritage of the Navajo and the American Southwest, Amangiri’s main restaurant and dining venues are open to resort guests and non-residents with reservations. Looking out across the plains through floor-to-ceiling windows, Amangiri’s main restaurant centres on an open-plan kitchen and wood-fired oven. It offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with especially breathtaking views at sunrise and sunset. Served indoors or on the pool terrace, the menus showcase local ingredients, taking inspiration from Native American cuisine, tempered with modern global influences. A four-course ‘Spirit of the Journey’ tasting menu with matched wines pays gastronomic tribute to the five tribes of the region.

Spread across 2,322 square metres (25,000 square feet), the Aman Spa reflects the healing traditions of the Navajo, with treatments drawing on the four elements of earth, wind, fire and water. Experience the restorative power of submersion in the flotation pavilion, or visit the water pavilion for thermal therapies including a sauna, steam room and plunge pool. Adjoining the spa, a stone-lined step pool offers temperature-controlled water, cushioned seating, desert views, and an atmosphere conducive to mindful contemplation. Take a short hike to the top of a monolithic rock formation for a one-of-a-kind yoga experience high above the valley floor. Amangiri’s yoga specialist guides guests through a personalised movement session with heart-stirring 360º views of the Navajo National Park – magnificent at any time, but sublime at sunrise.

佩吉机场（PGA）距离安缦奇岭25分钟车程，酒店提供免费接送服务。无论由安缦奇岭司机接送，或是租车自驾前往酒店，沿途苍美自然景观盈目，行驶全程需花费约2.5至4.5小时。途中主要接送点包括圣乔治、弗拉格斯塔夫、菲尼克斯和拉斯维加斯，多条路线穿越国家公园。

Page Municipal Airport (PGA) is located 25 minutes from Amangiri and complimentary transfers are provided to all guests. Whether it is with an Amangiri driver or a rented car, it takes approximately 2.5 to 4.5 hours through beautiful scenery to reach the resort. Main departure points are St. George, Flagstaff, Phoenix and Las Vegas, with various routes passing through national park.
