As the most excellent “waterfront design expert” in China, BLVD has always been following the guidance of the advanced and internationalized theory. Adopting a comprehensive urban development perspective, which integrates industries, city, landscape and tourism as a whole plan, BLVD aims to promote urbanization process and realize social benefits.

Through years of practice and exploration, BLVD has worked out a completely new model in urban park design and tourism and holiday resort design by integrating architecture, landscape into urban planning. Through this way, a brand of an urban city featuring local culture and scene experiences is established. It transforms investment and marketing into material environment products and helps the overall industrial chain to profit.

Over the past ten years, BLVD has always committed itself to promoting the regeneration of urban economic development by reviving urban waterfront areas. The urban waterfront landscape projects completed by BLVD can be found in more than 20 cities including Luzhou, Langzhong, Peng’an, Cangxi, Jintang, Suining, Guang’an, and Hongya and other cities alongside Yangtze River, Jialing River, Fu River, Qu River, Qiyi River and Ha River. The site area designed totals about 4000 hectares.

Exploiting Suining’s fame as an innate place of Guangying culture, we created a development based on multi-functionalism; combining a tourist resort with commercial development mixed with a blend of ecological experience inspired by a rich cultural heritage. The Landscape Belt con-sists of a Guanying cultural street, a tourist-oriented corridor that reflects the harmony of human nature and a new commercial zone intended to initiate and support the economy of the district.

滨水优美休闲空间是每个城市的梦想，爱伊河正是实现这种梦想的地方。规划通过与传统文化的结合，打破绿化隔离，拉近亲水距离，形成一个水城交融、展示城市魅力的舞台，将其打造成中国西北地区最具影响力的城市轴线，形成银川面向世界的形象窗口与最靓丽的城市名片。

在设计中，挖掘地道的“金凤栖水、塞上奇观”文化，通过抽象的手法引申出“折线”与“水波”形式作为场地造型的基调，创造生态的退台空间，结合城市生态立市，塞上湖城的城市定位，利用场地空间的落差，打造出一个有序列层次的空间体验界面，形成大气、连贯、视觉冲击力强的城市景观新形象。

It is the dream of every city to have a beautiful waterfront leisure space. You can never find a place as perfect as Ai Yi River, where the local culture was well integrated into the design of waterfront landscape, thus turning it into a charming urban platform by breaking green insulation and improving water accessibility. Ai Yi River is supposed to be the most influential urban axis in Northwestern China, the image window and the most beautiful city image of Yinchuan to the outside world. In our design, the abstract “folding lines” and “water waves” was introduced in the traditional cultural landscape of “phoenix dancing gracefully on water; wonderful sight in border” to create an eco stepping-back space. By combining an urban eco concept and utilizing the level difference of the site, an experience space with clear levels is achieved to present an utter-new continuous and eye-shocking urban landscape image.

The project is located on the south side of Hanzhong Bingjiang New District next to the Hanjiang River. This green belt also connects to Tianhan Boulevard to the east and Xierhuan Bridge to the west. The City of Hanzhong is blessed with beautiful scenery and rich cultural history, while the site is the main place of gathering for Hanzhong citizens and the best place for the City to display its public face. An essential part of Han culture is the three elements, Culture, Water and Green (Land). Hanzhong is already rich with Han culture and Han River is already present. Therefore, we decided to complete the third element, Green (Land), by designing a cultural park that will be new focal point for Hanzhong and the “Living Room” for its citizens. It will contain recreation facilities, entertainment zone, sports complex, commercial/ retail mall and upscale residential district.

泸州是一座长江之滨的美丽城市，土地肥沃，物产富庶，滔滔江水润泽千年古城。自古以来，泸州在中国酿酒业和物流业中扮演着极其重要的作用。绿色彩虹滨江公园犹如一条舞动的丝带将泸州与长江编织起来。项目所在地山水环绕，水城交融，这一独特的地理位置为场地提供了绝佳的机会创造彩虹般美轮美奂的场景。彩虹色彩绚丽，五彩缤纷，这一灵感不仅体现在滨江公园的平面形态上，同时，场地的功能构成也将生态发展，文化传扬，用户体验和公众互动等多重因素考虑其中。因此公园设计中包含了生态湿地，传统庭院，娱乐设施及大气亲和的公园入口等丰富的景观节点。绿色彩虹滨江公园的最终设计理念在于打造生动鲜活的城市滨水空间，让当地人民亲身体验到气势磅礴的长江景色以及泸州源远绵长的地方文化。

Located along side the Yangtze River, the town of Luzhou has been blessed with abundant resources from the tumbling water and fertile land. The city has been playing an important role in the Chinese wine and logistics industry throughout history. The Green Rainbow Waterfront Park is a ribbon shaped space that intertwines the town of Luzhou with the Yangtze River. A rainbow appears on very rare occasions with strict conditions. Likewise, the site is full of opportunities for brilliant expressions owing to its unique location in between two precious elements. As a rainbow offers a full spectrum of colors, the design takes in consideration of many important issues such as sustainability, cultural celebration, user comfort and public engagement. As a result, programs such as wetland areas, traditional style gardens, recreational facilities and park entrances located at each circulation node are realized in the project. The ultimate goal of the design is to enhance public experience with the great Yangtze scenery and to create a lively city space that celebrates the rich and longstanding local culture.

“森林之城、活水之都”是洪雅给人的第一印象。规划强调人与自然共生，维护自然过程与格局；延续城市文脉，展现时尚新风，打造成一个具有鲜明特色与个性特征的城市森林生态景观空间，对外展示洪雅的城市形象与发展理念。在设计过程中尊重本底，强化“透绿”、“见山”、“引水”理念，将场地肌理与自然肌理有机交融，形成纵横交织的韵律，不同的空间区域赋予不同的功能和情景感受，增加场地的空间体验。通过生态水系引入、滩涂生态修复等一系列国际先进生态技术运用，为城市可持续发展与生态品牌建立奠定基础。

“Rich in forest and water” the first impression that people have for Hongya. So in the planning we emphasized the symbiosis between human and nature, maintained the natural process and layout; but still the design bears the city characteristics, because our goal is to build a unique City Forest Eco Landscape, which can display the city image and the development philosophy of Hongya. The design principle is to let people “see the vegetation, mountain and water”. We weaved the site texture with the natural texture together in an organic way, which brings stron- ger atmosphere to each different space. While the introduction of worldly advanced eco technology, such as eco water system, restoration of intertidal zone ensures a sustainable development and the establishment of eco brand.

Langzhong is an ancient city with thousands of years history, as well as the hometown of Fengshui(geomantic omen). The purpose of our plan is to carry forward its history, create a international first-class waterfront, integrate tourism and city function so as to express its eco-friendliness, leisure and livability, thus creating a new Langzhong city serving as a international tourism and holiday resort that well corresponds with Langzhong old city. Linkage and restructure is used in our design to display Langzhong’s fantastic landscape and specialty. Starting from the five dimensions of city, tourism, industry, site and image, we aim to present an international eco landscape city featuring mixed-use function and high efficiency by strengthening visual image of the new city and creating a breathable space.
