这是2010年釜山剧院竞赛中的参赛方案之一。建筑师希望剧院成为釜山的象征，文化旅游胜地。剧院是一个具有最先进技术，可持续发展系统和高利用率材料的独特建筑。通过先进的建模技术，让这栋建筑的兼具美观，创新，同时能够积极对应周围环境—-阳光以及通风。建筑采用圆形的布局，这使得内部可以有一个高效合理的功能系统，同时其形态将吸引着游客和用户。建筑也加强了当地人们的凝聚性和认可感。

The Busan Opera House will be an icon for Busan, its coastline and an important symbol for a global South Korea as a new cultural destination for many events. As a symbol of Busan, the Opera house will be a unique building that incorporates the most advanced technology, sustainable systems and high efficiency materials.

Through advanced modeling tools, the design of this building with its innovative and unique aesthetic qualities also responds to important environmental parameters such as program efficiency, solar orientation and natural ventilation.

The circular layout and 360 degree design allows continued coordination between external form, interior layout, and building systems that give rise to an intrinsically rational and efficient design. While the form and aesthetics of the building will be attractive to users and visitors, it also supports the idea to enhance communication within the community and bay area.
