一家全新的设计酒店近日于曼谷暹罗广场（Siam Square）热闹非凡的核心地带隆重开幕。作为一处文化多元、氛围活跃的地标性街区，这里迎来了Vela be Siam Hotel——一个将泰式传统元素与当代设计语言巧妙融合的全新地标。酒店外立面设计尤为引人注目，融合了经典泰式建筑中的“Pun-Lom”（通风雕花木窗）元素——一种在传统泰国家屋中常见的精致雕刻构件，象征着本土建筑遗产。同时，外立面亦饰以闪亮的不锈钢链节，这是对泰国家庭夜晚用于覆盖床铺的蚊帐的现代诠释。这一设计在传统与当代之间建立起深刻的对话，呈现出别具一格的视觉体验。

A new design hotel has recently opened its doors in the vibrant epicenter of Siam Square, Bangkok, a lively district known for its rich cultural tapestry and dynamic atmosphere. This innovative establishment features a striking facade that masterfully blends traditional Thai architectural motifs with a contemporary twist. The design prominently incorporates the Pun-Lom, an intricately carved element often seen in classic Thai homes, symbolizing the local heritage. The exterior is further embellished with gleaming stainless steel chain links. This modern nod represents the mosquito nets that Thai families historically used to cover their beds at night, creating a dialogue between past and present.

Stepping inside, guests are enveloped by a lively and invigorating interior that pays homage to the essence of Thailand through a carefully curated palette of vibrant colors inspired by the nation’s rich cultural hues. This celebration of Thai aesthetics is particularly pronounced in the communal spaces, where joyful colors and ornate patterns create an uplifting and welcoming atmosphere that invites social interaction and exploration.

The main lobby features a visually striking orange, pebble-shaped reception desk set against a lush green backdrop, establishing a warm and energetic tone for every arriving guest. Towering double-volume ceilings open up the space, allowing visitors to catch glimpses of the activities taking place in the yellow and black common area on the second floor. This versatile space is designed for working, dining, and leisure, further enhancing the communal spirit of the hotel.

At the rear of the lobby, a tranquil pool bar awaits, offering an oasis of calm where guests can unwind amidst verdant greenery and soothing water features. This serene setting is perfect for relaxation, providing a stark yet delightful contrast to the lively environments found throughout the hotel.

Each floor of the hotel continues the vivid theme, with thoughtfully designed lift halls that feature different colors indicating the level number. As guests approach their rooms, the vibrant hues gradually transition to more muted and soothing tones, creating an atmosphere of peace and restfulness. These tranquil retreats are designed to promote restorative sleep, yet even in these serene spaces, playful elements persist. For instance, the outer wall of the restroom boasts a striking array of colorful tiles, infusing a sense of fun and whimsy into the otherwise calm ambiance.
