我们在贝亨泰姆的湖边建造了一座住宅：钢屋。钢屋是一座建在斜坡上的倾斜小屋。最低点是卧室和浴室，往上两步是餐厅和厨房，再往上两步，位于水面之上的最高处是带360度木炉的起居室。厨房和餐桌之间有一条通道，通向一个双层床的小房间。

We have built a house on the edge of a lake in Bergentheim: Steel House. Steel House is a house built on stilts that slopes upwards. The lowest point starts at the bedroom and bathroom, 2 steps higher is the kitchen with dining table and 2 steps higher, at the highest point above the water is the sitting area with 360º wood stove. Between the kitchen and dining table is a passage to a room with a bunk bed.

房屋为开放式平面，只有双层床的房间和主卧室有房门。房间内的高度差和内置花盆的家具提供了私密性。房屋三面封闭的，正面则完全敞开，因此所有区域都可以自由地欣赏到森林和湖泊的美景。房屋的外表皮用耐候钢包覆，在最近几个月涂上了漂亮的红色漆面。框架由原始的非洲杉木制成。房屋内部则使用 Ayous木材（一种耐热改善木材）。房屋前面是一个架空木制露台，露台上有太阳椅、户外餐桌和烧烤架。两台热泵提供热水和供暖/冷却。房屋有自己的废水处理系统。

The house is open plan, only the bedroom with bunk beds and the shower/WC have a door. The height differences and pieces of furniture with built-in planters in the room provide privacy. The house is closed on 3 sides and completely open at the front, so that all areas have a free and wide view of the forest and the lake. The house is clad on the outside with Corten steel and has been painted a beautiful red in recent months. The frames are made of untreated Afrormosia wood. The inside of the house is finished with Ayous, a thermally modified type of wood. In front of the house is a large raised wooden deck with sun lounger, outdoor table and bbq. Two heat pumps provide hot water and heating/cooling. The house has its own waste water system.

在湖的同一侧还坐落着湖畔小屋和湖畔别墅。我们建造这些房子的目的是为了既能一览无余地欣赏水景，又能最大程度保护彼此的隐私。钢屋自2022年9月起对外出租。抵达后，可以将车停于车道，然后乘坐牵拉木筏横跨水面到达房屋。通过楼梯，可以到达宽敞的木质露台，然后从厨房进入房屋。

On the same edge of the lake are Lakeside Cabin and Lake House. We have built the houses in such a way that there is an unobstructed view of the water and at the same time optimal privacy in relation to each other. Steel House is for rent since September 2022. On arrival you park your car in your own driveway and then a pull raft takes you across the water to your house. Via a staircase you reach the large wooden deck and then you enter the house through the kitchen.
