万科云是对立体城市的探索，以形体交织模糊地面与建筑之间的界限，重塑城市地貌，让建筑成为土地的延展而非孤岛。沿街立面通过抬升起伏的设计手法，活跃城市街角，释放内部庭院，使内外空间相互交融。屋顶连续起伏和退台，串联了空中花园和庭院，体量的穿透改善建筑的微气候环境。加以植被绿化，万科云看起来就像浮在半空的山体。

Cloud 9 is an exploration of the three-dimensional city. It blurs the boundary between the ground and the building with the shape interwoven, reshapes the urban landscape, and makes the building become the extension of the land rather than an isolated island. Through the design method of lifting and undulating, the facade along the street enlivens the corner space of the city, releases the internal courtyard, and makes the internal and external space blend with each other. The continuous undulations and set-back models on the roof connect the sky garden and courtyard. The penetration of the volume improves the micro-climate environment of the building, and adds vegetation to make the Cloud 9 look like a mountain floating in the air.

万科云把地面延展到天空，就像一座大山，人可以游历其中，以流动的外部空间承载都市人的生活长卷。不同于高层塔楼有着明确的内外之分，万科云建筑与场地并不好界定。两个相扣的六边形布局，形成两进院落，另有多处交错的空中花园穿透建筑，使万科云成为可观可游的都市山林。

Cloud 9 extends the ground to the sky, like a big mountain, where people can travel, and carries the life of urban people in the flowing external space. Different from the high-rise tower has a clear internal and external distinction, Cloud 9 building and site is not well defined. The two linked hexagonal layout forms a two-entrance courtyard, and a number of staggered sky gardens penetrate the building, making Cloud 9 become a considerable urban mountain forest.

多个错叠的建筑以屋顶平台连接转化为一个整体。层层跌落的造型回应西侧，以相近的尺度对话城中村。另一端则以屋顶阶梯广场和大型空中花园，拥抱东侧的生态公园。

Multiple staggered buildings are transformed into a whole by roof platform connection. Layers of falling shapes respond to the west side and talk to villages in the city in a similar scale. At the other end, the terrace square on the roof and a large sky garden embrace the ecological park on the east side.

自西南角台阶登上裙房屋顶，低矮屋顶与较高的屋顶相连，形成一个起伏而环通的屋顶平台，途经各个空中花园都能与建筑内部贯通。起伏造型的屋顶平台把建筑所覆盖的土地还原为市民的活动场地，衔接周边步道，连接外围社区。地面的路径与屋顶平台相接，形成了立体的步行网络。高密度条件下的立体街巷，让人回归交流、见证和充满偶发性的自由行走状态。

From the southwest corner steps to the podium roof, the lower roof is connected with the higher one to form an undulating and circular roof platform, which can be connected with the interior of building through every sky garden. The undulating roof platform restores the land covered by the building to public venues, connecting the surrounding footpaths and the communities outside. The path on the ground connects with the roof platform, forming a three-dimensional walking network. The three-dimensional streets under high-density conditions make people return to the state of communication, witness and random free walking.

释放的首层空地和起伏屋顶平台、空中花园，承载了不同标高的立体绿化、休闲和体育锻炼设施。错落有序的建筑形态，既利于采光通风，又可让室内空间拥有更多的景观面，营造丰富视觉和空间体验。本项目贯彻节能环保及可持续发展理念，利用光导技术、太阳能光伏、雨水回用、微喷灌等绿色技术获得中国绿色二星设计标识。

The first-floor open space, the undulating roof platform and the sky garden carry three-dimensional greening, leisure and sports facilities of different elevations. The orderly architectural form not only benefits the lighting and ventilation, but also allows the interior space to have more landscape, creating rich visual and spatial experience. The project implements the concept of energy conservation, environmental protection and sustainable development, and obtains the China Green two-star design logo by using green technologies such as photoconductive technology, solar photovoltaic, rainwater reuse, micro sprinkler irrigation, etc.

广州市天河区IT产业聚集并迅速发展。万科云作为软件产业园，通过富有弹性的空间组合，提供了SOHO办公、平层办公和复式办公等不同的租赁办公产品，契合初创、扩张型公司甚至企业总部的各种办公空间需求和动态发展模式。

IT industry has gathered and developed rapidly in Tianhe District, Guangzhou. As a software industrial park, Cloud 9 provides different rental offices, such as SOHO office, flat floor office and duplex office through flexible space combination, which meets various office space requirements and dynamic development mode of start-up, expansion companies and even enterprise headquarters.

建筑采用了马赛克图案的幕墙设计，通过巧妙的模数计算和Low-E玻璃、彩釉玻璃、背漆玻璃、铝合金扣板、铝合金穿孔板等面材，优雅地隐藏了空调室外机，把不同层高和不同开窗要求的立面模块统一在“迷彩”外观里，实现了奇幻的整体感。

The curtain wall design of mosaic pattern is adopted in the building. Through ingenious modulus calculation and surface materials such as Low-E glass, Ceramic Fritted Glass, back-painted glass, aluminum alloy gusset plate, aluminum alloy perforated plate, the outdoor unit of the air conditioner is hidden elegantly, and the facade modules with different storey height and different window opening requirements are unified in the “camouflage” appearance, realizing the fantastic overall feeling.

万科云没有从形态模仿、元素提炼等常见方向去展现中国文化。其形体的曲折灵动，外部空间互通，路径延绵循环，建筑的无形无为恰是自然承载万物之道。

Cloud 9 does not show Chinese culture from common directions such as form imitation and element extraction. The twists and turns of its shape, the interconnection of external spaces, the continuous circulation of the path, and the intangible intangibility of the building is precisely the way that nature carries all things.
