gooood Get-Project platform ( more project information/membership register/look for designer) has been in operation for almost one and a half years, having published projects with nearly 500 million budget in total and the success ratio of 19% in the project alignment. Different fields require different project periods, as the architectural design requires for the longest time, while the periods of the interior design and the landscape design follow in the subsequence. Currently, it is a good pleasure and honor to see that some of our members have completed the construction or the design of the projects they received. On the platform, we have discovered that some talented young companies have obtained more than one project commissions within one year, some experienced companies have marched into the oversea market with commissions of overseas exclusive hotel projects, some architects who could only obtain interior projects in the conventional way have dealt with several architecture projects, and that some outstanding design companies can have a great impact on their clients that they could convince their clients to raise the original budget by a wide margin, etc. Now, we are going to display the projects our members have received on our platform accompanied with brief interviews, listening to their processes and the feelings toward the project alignment on our platform. We hope for a better platform, as well as your supports.
This time we will introduce the Soul Realm SPA House interior design completed by Studio 715 (contact: firstname.lastname@example.org；more: Studio 715 on gooood). The final design fee was ¥200,000. Click HERE to see the project info on get-project platform.

谷德采访了项目设计事务所 Studio 715，请设计师回答了在对接过程中的一些经历以及使用项目推介平台的体验：
The owner of Villa Sahoo B&B in Dali is a musical director. He likes and yearns very much in southern Italy. He also has a collection of hotels in Positano in southern Italy. The location of this Haidongfang residence facing Erhai Lake and the climate characteristics of Dali, the flowers and vegetation is very similar to southern Italy. So he discussed with us that he wanted to build an Italian style homestay.

The main creatives of our team have lived in Italy for nearly ten years. From school to work, one-third of their lives are spent there. We really like the aesthetics of life and the ubiquitous artistic atmosphere in Italian life.
Our design inspiration is also derived from the artistic trend of the beginning of the 20th century in Italy. For each floor, we selected a famous Italian painter’s paintings, surrealist artist Giorgio de Chirico, and important futuristic artist Carlo Carrà, and the painter Giorgio Morandi we are very familiar with, the works of these artists not only led the art trend at that time, but also had a profound influence on architectural design, interior design, and furniture design, which has never stopped until now. We can see their reflections in many contemporary designs.

We draw inspiration from the content and colors of their paintings to design each room so that each room looks like an oil painting. The matching of these colors and the selection of shapes are very free and bold. The color of the walls of the guest rooms is mainly based on the original Italian old houses. Some old hotels we have stayed in Italy are very lingering. The texture and color of the walls are retro, and the floor tiles are not so regular and perfect splicing, which can make us feel the traces of time.

We admire and love this unobtrusive elegance and unpretentious beauty, and we hope it can be reflected in this homestay. We have selected some rough materials such as exposed stone, old mirrors, and modern furniture as a collocation. We hope that from this contrast between the new and the old, we will bring the feeling of timelessness to the guests.

The basement floor is the public area for residents’ activities and the outdoor garden part. We hope that this is a relaxed and open environment, and that guests will not feel constrained here. So transparency and flexibility in public areas are very important to us. We have made abundant design here, with a book corner, living room, bar, dining room, and two-way connection between the side garden and the front garden, so that guests can relax and communicate freely, such as having breakfast outdoors and tasting wine in the garden… Use it as a lively place for communication and use it flexibly and casually.

We hope that this is a place that truly has an Italian lifestyle, not pretentious or demanding perfection. We hope that passengers in a hurry can feel the essence of life, relax their mind and body, get inspiration from this house, and experience the simple and pure beauty of life.
