The installation consists of a dense and fluffy blanket of luminous curves with thousands of flashing dots that create the illusion of a cloudy sky and snow falling at night. The densely covered sky permits the spectator to enter an immersive artificial atmosphere, a space of light and zero gravity, the world of Ro.

《Ro In The Clouds》是马德里市委托Brut Deluxe团队为阿尔卡拉街设计的一个特定地点装置项目。该装置布满了西贝莱斯广场和阿尔卡拉门之间200米长、30米宽的标志性路段，是马德里圣诞照明计划的一部分。每年，这座城市都会邀请来自从建筑到时尚和平面设计等不同领域的艺术家，创作当代灯光装置。

Ro In The Clouds is a site-specific design commissioned by the City of Madrid for Alcala Street. The installation extends the emblematic 200m long and 30m wide stretch between Cibeles and Puerta de Alcalá, and is part of Madrid’s Christmas lighting program. Every year, the city invites artists from different fields, from architecture to fashion and graphic design, to create contemporary light installations.

装置面积超过6000平方米，白色LED灯绳总长3公里。其中480个垂直照明装置每个均装有16个LED灯泡，每个灯泡都具有动态灯光效果，可变换不同的颜色。而在总共安装了172.080个LED的情况下，整个装置仅耗能4.2kW/h。

The installation extends over 6000 m2. The white LED light rope has a total length of 3 km. 480 vertical light motives hold 16 LED light bulbs each with dynamic light effects and varying colours. A total of 172.080 LEDs are installed in all the lighting elements. The energy consumption of the entire installation is only 4.2kW/h.
