“发光桌”在2012年米兰设计周的GLAS ITALIA展位上亮相，GLAS ITALIA是意大利的传统玻璃家具制造商，他们和设计师Tokujin Yoshioka进行了这次合作，也是他们的首次合作。桌子由透明的实心玻璃组成。

桌子仿佛从物质世界解脱，折射的光就像是自身的发光。出生于1967年的日本设计师Tokujin Yoshioka的作品受到了高度评价，被认为超越产品设计，建筑和展览的界限，成为艺术。他的作品被世界上许多博物馆包括MOMA收藏。获奖众多，受到日本媒体的高度认可。

In 2012, “LUMINOUS” will be presented at GLAS ITALIA in Milan Salone del Mobile 2012. GLAS ITALIA is an Italian manufacturer of glass furniture who has a long history and tradition, and it is a first collaboration between GLAS ITALIA and Tokujin Yoshioka. “LUMINOUS” is the transparent glass table completed by the solid glass structure. This table, given its birth by light itself, is as if it is freed from the material world, obtaining its appearance by the refraction of light and emits a mysterious presence.

Tokujin Yoshioka , designer

Born in 1967. Established Tokujin Yoshioka Inc. in 2000. His works, which transcend the boundaries of product design, architecture, and exhibition installation, are highly evaluated also as art. Many of his works are displayed as a part of permanent collections in the world’s well-known museums including Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, Musee d’Orsay in Paris.  He received prizes such as “Design Miami, Designer of the Year, 2007”, “Elle Deco International Design Awards (EDIDA)/ Designer of the Year 2009”, “A&W Architektur & Wohnen/Designer of the Year 2011”, and “Maison & Objet/ Creator of the Year 2012″. Appeared in television broadcaster TBS’s documentary program, “Jonetsu Tairiku” and selected by the Japanese edition of Newsweek as one of the “100 most respected Japanese by the world.”
