Appreciation towards AW DESIGN STUDIO for providing the following description:

门窗的重要性在于其是两个世界，关于围合和开放、室内和室外、私密和公共、阴影和光明之间最重要的调和者。这是一个门窗系统展厅，一个以自然的设计语言去表达，最终呈现出未来和荒芜感的空间。

Windows and doors are important because they are two worlds. They are the most important reconcilers between enclosed and open, indoor and outdoor, private and public, and shadow and light. This is an exhibition hall of the window and door system in which the design language of nature is used to express and future and the space with feelings of desolation is finally presented.

我们尝试打破关于自然和户外的某种必然，以空间的重塑和产品的秩列，来探讨关于内外的界定，关于自然的固式思维。

We try to break something inevitable about nature and outdoor space. With the remodeling of space and arrangement of products, we discussed the definition of inside and outside and the fixed thinking about nature.

三角造型更像是表达一种残垣一种被自然历练过的力量，和产品的结合，向一个纬度加深了这种力量的厚度。是表达对自然的敬畏也是未来给我们的疏远的临近感。

The triangle modeling seems to express the ruined wall and a power thoroughly tempered by the nature. The combination with the product increases the thickness of such power in a dimension. It expresses a reverence for nature and the remote close feeling given by the future to us.

黑色火山石的地面，从布道开始给人以空间的肃静，以不喧闹的姿态去感受和触摸。黑色的石材镜面，拟湖水，给这个脚下更多的感官体会，给这个空间更多的人为自然。

The floor made of black volcanized rocks gives people the solemn silence of the space from the footpath. You can feel and touch it in a quiet manner.The black stone mirror simulates lake water and gives feet more senses and the space more artificial nature.

冲孔铝板的存在建立了更直接的屏障去实验内外的相对性，同时它是光影的途径，是将阴影的形状和明暗的交替给直接表达给我们的载体。

The punched aluminum plate establishes a more direct barrier to test the relativity of inside and outside. At the same time, it is the path of light and shadow and the carrier with which the shape of shadow and alternation of light and shade are directly expressed to us.

门窗系统是光的引子，对于空间它是表达黑暗和光明更迭的最直接的媒介，阴影和光亮持续不停的呼吸，是给空间最好的自然说辞。

The window and door system is the primer of light. For space, it is the most direct media that expresses the alternation of darkness and light, the continuous breath of shadow and light, and the best natural description of space.
