一叶咖啡位于浙江省武义县花田美地旅游度假区内，它如同一片叶子轻轻地飘落在观景平台之上，面朝花海背靠茶山，在人造景观和自然山体之间找到了属于它的立足点。

Leaf Cafe is located in Flower Town Resort, Wuyi County, Zhejiang Province. The cafe in a shape of a leaf, gently floating down on top of the viewing deck, Facing the flower sea and backed by the tea mountain. It is standing between the man-made landscape and the natural mountain.

花田美地是浙江花田旅游开发股份有限公司开发并运营的大型文旅度假项目综合体，整个旅游度假区占地将约4平方公里，园区内部除了有精心耕作打理的花田和茶园以外，还包含了两个水库和大片的山林，从平原丘陵到山川河谷，地貌地形丰富多样，景观层次各有不同。一叶咖啡的选址就在这样的花海和茶山之间，每年三月下旬樱花盛开之时，更是浪漫唯美。这样的基地条件可谓是得天独厚，它为建筑提供了极佳的视野和良好的景观氛围。

Flower Town is a large-scale cultural and tourism resort project complex developed and operated by Zhejiang Flower Town Tourism Development Co., Ltd. The whole tourism resort covers an area of approximate 4 km2. In addition to deliberately cultivated flower fields and tea gardens, the park also includes two water reservoirs and large mountains and forests, ranging from plains, hills to mountains, from rivers to valleys. The landscape in the park varies, with different levels of terrain. The location of Leaf Cafe is between this flowers sea and tea mountains. Every year in late March, when cherry blossoms bloom, the place will be even more romantic and beautiful. This base condition can be called unique, providing excellent views and a good landscape for the whole architecture complex.

一叶咖啡作为建筑单体，规模其实并不大，甚至可以说是迷你了。其建筑形态也十分纯粹，它的主体系由一片薄薄的双曲面屋顶架构而成，屋顶平面投影由旋转对称的弧线构成，它的每条边都是由两段半径不同的弧线相切相连，从而呈现出两头尖中间鼓的树叶形状。从立面上看，主体结构仅有两个尖端落地，中间弧线隆起以形成拱桥结构。在确定建筑轮廓之后，再将前后两条轮廓线等分，每个等分点以直线相连，所形成的双曲面构成了这一建筑的基本形态。

As an individual building block, Leaf Cafe is actually not in very large scale, and can even be described as miniature. Its architectural form is also very simple. Its main system is structured by a thin piece of hyperbolic roof, while the plane projection of the roof consists of rotationally symmetrical arcs. Each of its edges is tangentially connected by two arcs of different radius, thus presenting the shape of a leaf with two pointy ends and a bulging center. From the facade view, the main structure has only two tips standing on the ground, with the central arc to bulging to form an arch bridge structure. After confirming the outline of the building, the front and back contour lines are divided into equal parts, with each of them connected by a straight line. The formed hyperbolic shape consists of the basic form of the building.

建筑只有两个支撑点落地，使得屋顶与地面之间建立起了直接联系，这两个连接点承受了整个建筑的重量，中间部位仅有四根拉杆与地面相连，因此视觉观感十分纤细，并与玻璃幕墙的竖梃相结合，起到了稳定屋面结构和抗风抗拔的作用。这一巧妙的构思，实现了建筑前后近乎完美的视觉通透感，从而很好地回应了基地两面都拥有良好景观视野的这一特性。

The building has only two support points to be standing on the ground, making a direct connection between the roof and the ground, which hold the weight of the whole building, with only four tie rods in the middle connecting with the ground, so the building has a very slim visual appearance. The combination with the vertical stile of the glass facade has the role of stabilizing the roof structure and resisting wind and up-lift stress. This ingenious concept realizes a nearly perfect visual permeability between the front and back of the building, thus responding well to the character of the base, which has good views from both sides.

建筑屋顶的上表面采用条形直立锁边金属板铺设，下表面则同理采用条形实木板铺设，条状材料很好地塑造了屋顶的光滑曲面，同时在视觉效果上也引导了视线的穿透感。为了最大限度地保证屋面的轻薄，除照明设备外，其余设备都埋入架空地坪之下，室内也采用了防腐木地板，除了延续室外的材质观感以外，另一个作用就是方便检修。

The rooftop surface of the building is paved with strips of vertical locking metal plates, while the rooftop bottom surface is paved with strips of solid wood plates, the material in stripe shape perfectly created the curved shape of the roof, and at the same time, visually guiding the sense of penetration of the sight. In order to maximize the lightness and thinness of the roof, in addition to the lighting equipment, all the other equipment is buried under the overhead flooring, and the interior part also uses the anti-corrosive wood for flooring, which has the functions of extending the outdoor material perception, and also facilitating the inspection and maintenance.

一叶咖啡以一个微小的建筑单体，对于建筑的通透性、结构形式以及设备布置等方面都做出了尝试与探讨，而这些探讨恰恰给这一特殊基地环境下的建筑以一个合理的回应，方能不辜负这开满鲜花的绝美土地。

As a tiny building, Leaf Cafe has made attempts and explorations on the permeability, structural form and MEP. These explorations of the building have precisely given a reasonable response to the building under the environment of this special base, so as to let the building live up to the stunningly beautiful land full of flowers.
