我对建筑、结构的美学以及它们外形的细节之处尤为着迷。在我眼里，每栋建筑都有自身的建筑语言，这种语言是用完全个性化的词汇表达出来的。在所有这些语言中，我寻找最优美的字母和单词。我的目标是提取都市建筑的形状，突出表现它们清晰的形式和结构。通过将城市的要素分解成实体，我意在使建筑从它们的空间背景和已知周围环境中解放出来。

I am particularly fascinated by the aesthetics of constructions, architecture and the details of their shapes. In my eyes, every building has its own architectural language with a totally individual vocabulary. In all of these languages, I look for the most beautiful letters and words. My aim is to abstract urban shapes and underline their clear forms and structures. By breaking the essence of a city down to the substance, I intend to free buildings from their spatial context and known surroundings.

关于摄影师

塞巴斯蒂安•卫斯在德国出生，在波罗的海边长大。

他在德累斯顿工业大学学习建筑工程。之后在德国柏林艺术大学电子商务学院学习，专攻技术和设计。

他曾充当多家知名广告和设计公司的设计师，比如BBDO广告公司，Jung von Matt广告公司和frog design公司。

2013年9月，他成为建筑文摘德国版（康泰纳仕出版公司）一名正式的图片专栏作家。他的作品还出现在建筑文摘德国版年度版“2013德国最佳”。

About Sebastian Weiss

Sebastian Weiss was born in Germany and grew up at the Baltic Sea.

He studied constructional engineering at the Technical University of Dresden. During his later studies at the electronic business institute of the University of the Arts in Berlin, he focused on technology and design.

He worked as a designer for many recognized advertising and design agencies, like BBDO, Jung von Matt und frog design.

In September 2013, he became an official photo columnist at Architectural Digest Germany (Condé Nast publishing house). His work is also found in the annual edition “Best of Germany 2013” of Architectural Digest Germany.
