什么是MAD旅行资金

2009年，中国建筑师马岩松发起MAD旅行基金。每一年，马岩松亲自挑选基金获得者，赞助他们为其10-14天的与自选研究课题相关的海外旅游，并协助约见学生希望拜访的建筑事务所，或与活跃在当今思想、建筑、文化和艺术界的大师谈话的计划。

MAD旅行基金期望每一次旅行可成为未来建筑师在学校外的一次思想碰撞的机会，建筑教育的延展，职业生涯的一个起点，让他们意识到寻找真正属于自己道路的重要性和必要性。在过去七届旅行基金中，国内共三十五位大学生获得MAD旅行基金资助，带着他们自选的研究课题踏上旅程，分别远赴亚、欧、美、非四大洲完成了他们的建筑之旅并与大家分享了各自的学术研究成果。

 

2017年怎么玩

今年，MAD旅行基金再次升级，首次对全球学生开放，将分别资助5为中国籍在校生以及5位外籍在校生，带着自己的研究课题，完成探索之旅：

一、获选中国籍学生可得到10-14天海外旅行机会，目的地不限；
二、获选外籍学生可得到10-14天前来中国旅行机会；
三、申请时，请提交研究课题（与旅行目的地相关），课题中包含需要约谈的建筑师（事务所或个人），MAD协助约见。
四、获奖人旅行结束后要提交研究报告，汇报成果。

 

如何申请

· 申请人必须是建筑相关专业本科或硕士在校生（2017年即将毕业的也算）
· 申请资料汇总成一个6MB之内的PDF文件（A4尺寸，横竖版不限），发送至 travel@i-mad.com。

必须包含但不限于以下内容：
· 研究方向和课题概要（500字内）：
· 课题内容；
· 旅行计划：目的地，计划寻访的建筑，计划拜访的人，约谈的主题内容，以上与课题之间的联系
· 个人简历（不超过一页A4）：个人基本信息、联系方式、教育背景和经历等。
· 作品集：申请人本人独立完成的作品。
· 邮件标题命名格式：姓名_目前在读学校_院系_年级

 

申请截止日期：2017年5月14日 00:00前（以收到邮件时间为准）
结果公布日期：2017年5月22日

· 5 global architecture students (Travel in China)
· 5 Chinese-nationality architecture students (Worldwide Travel)

 

Ma Yansong, founding principal partner of MAD Architects, initiated MAD Travel Fellowship in 2009. During the past 7 years, the program has sponsored 35 students for their overseas architecture travels to Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.

Starting 2017, the program will sponsor five more global students to visit China. MAD believes it is only through travel – the visceral experience of interacting with, and being influenced by, different spaces – that one can begin to understand ideas of context and gain a deeper insight into architecture.

Application Requirements

· Selected applicants must currently be an undergraduate or graduate architecture student;
· A 500 words or less letter describing your interests in architecture;
· CV and Portfolio.

· Please submit the above materials as one 6mb A4 PDF to travel@i-mad.com.
· The application file should be named as follows: school_major_graduating year_name.pdf
