Studio Mieke Meijer最新带来了几何系列装置“59”，该装置诠释了开放与闭合之间的转换关系。动态的表面依据光度和温度等周围各种因素的改变而变化。该装置对外界环境展现出明锐的洞察力，并积极应对周围环境的变化。与该事务所众多项目类似，该装置由众多独立单元组合而成。而改装置的名字“59”也正是所有组成元素的总数。用实心黄铜打造的砝码位于装置两侧。除作为装置的拉力部件外，这些砝码还映衬着装置中心的变化而营造出有趣的视觉效果。

Studio Mieke Meijer created a geometric installation named 59, which plays with the transition between open and closed. The dynamic surface could be driven by various data from its surroundings, such as light intensity and temperature among others. The structure gives a clear insight into its mechanics, creating a level of understanding between product and observer. Like most projects by Studio Mieke Meijer this installation was composed from a large number of individual parts. The title of the installation simply refers to the amount of shades: 59 in total. The weights located on the sides of the installation are made out of solid brass. Besides their function of keeping tension on the wires they create an interesting visual spectacle simultaneously to the movement of the shades.
