The Fleming, an urban boutique hotel located in the heart of Hong Kong’s vibrant Wan Chai district is set to reopen on 22 October 2017 after closing for a total makeover. The newly renovated hotel has been substantially upgraded by leading Hong Kong design firm A Work of Substance and is now set to be positioned as Hong Kong’s leading boutique hotel with a genuine sense of place that represents the city’s spirit.

芬名酒店东主兼执行董事许建业表示：“我们希望透过这次翻新工程，为追求品味的旅客带来价格相宜的下榻选择，感受香港的人文风景。” 这个历时一年的设计项目以别具代表性的渡海小轮为灵感，巧妙地以渡轮文化展现独树一帜的本土风采。
“With the relaunch, we are aiming to be the hotel of choice for style-conscious travellers who want to feel plugged-in to who’s who and what’s what when they come to Hong Kong, while still being reasonably affordable” said John Hui, Owner and creator of the hotel. The Fleming’s redesign, which has been a year in the making, takes its inspiration from Hong Kong’s iconic cross-harbour ferries and unique maritime heritage.

酒店共设 66 间雅致客房，分为“小型”、“中型”、“大型”和“特大”四种类型。房间缀有本地艺术作品和照片，并透过木地板、柔和灯光、酒瓶绿和海军蓝色调，以及黄铜装饰细节，营造出温馨惬意的空间。崭新的客房装潢既贴心又实用，房内附设操控板，方便调较灯光和开关电源。部分客房将书桌置于床头板后方以释放更多空间，而开放式衣柜、梳妆台和迷你吧就采用连接式设计。所有客房均设有免费智能 便携式电话、无线网络、连接Apple TV的平板电视和多媒体播放装置。为缔造最尊贵舒适的下榻体验，酒店还特意选用丝涟床褥和高级床单，并提供优质的早晚系列浴室用品。
The 66 stylish new guest rooms are available in sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large. The wooden floors, warm lighting and tones of bottle green and navy blue finished with brass detailing create an inviting space. Each room also features art and photography from Hong Kong based artists. Attention to detail and maximum functionality come across in the rooms design features. The lighting and power points are stylishly accessible from a switch board panel; in several of the rooms the desk flanks the headboard of the bed to create more space, while the open wardrobe, vanity and minibar are versatile and interconnected. All guestrooms come with a complimentary Handy integrated mobile device, Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs with Apple TV and multi-media panels. Comfort is also assured as beds are fitted with Sealy mattresses and luxury bed linens, while bathrooms feature the hotel’s bespoke bathroom amenities with different selections for morning and evening.

The hotel’s all-day dining concept, Osteria Marzia keeps within the maritime narrative by bringing coastal Italian flavours to The Fleming. The restaurant has been conceived by one of Hong Kong’s leading culinary concept creators, Black Sheep Restaurants. All guests will also have complimentary continental breakfast served at Osteria Marzia as well as access to The Lounge; a communal space to relax and enjoy complimentary teas. To keep up with regular fitness routines, The Fleming has also arranged for hotel guests to use the brand new, full service fitness centre, Goji Studios which is within a five minute walk from the hotel.

芬名酒店位处活力澎湃的香港湾仔区心脏地带，距离湾仔港铁站、天星渡轮码头和香港会议展览中心仅数分钟步程，驾车前往香港国际机场亦只需40分钟。
The Fleming is centrally located in Hong Kong’s lively Wan Chai district just minutes away from the MTR, Ferry Pier and Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The hotel is within a 40 minutes’ drive to the Hong Kong International airport.

单看大堂和夜景外观感觉氛围很适合拍一些的cult港片。。。
很有绅士格调
实际住了一下 满满的details
对材质和颜色的控制力非常惊人！……从内装……到客房的雨伞和鞋拔子……到盥洗备品的label （笑）……
整体的海事风格非常迷人 尤其对于经常乘坐渡海ferry的客人来说有种莫名的亲和力
最后就是房门上的……电报风格“do not disturb”小转盘真是神来一笔（笑）……
看来一定要去感受一下！
另一方面嘛·····强电弱电虽然走得很用心，不过开关控制常有失灵的情况
外国友人掌舵的事务所（？）……大梁压身、床前置镜之类……虽然也无伤大雅……
不过入乡随俗也算是种美德来的（笑）
哈哈哈哈哈，文化差异这东西，真的是
太棒了。 查了下价格，性价比非常的高。下次去就住这家酒店。
味道很足

有生活经历才能出味道，不错
色调氛围，最难的设计表现。这是一个细腻的团队，有敏感内心的人组成。
酒店营造了一种强烈的氛围，具有很强的时代印记啊！不错不错！

我特意去携程搜图看了一下。。。感觉摄影真的很重要啊。。。不过 有机会去住一次看看咯

改造前就是小宾馆， 改造后很有情调
