2025 Young Special Episode - The Trophy in Situ

2025年，我们从遍布全国的创作脉络中，遴选出20组年轻而鲜活的设计力量——他们来自北京、上海、杭州、深圳、佛山、香港、成都、重庆、云南，如星群般散落于北方、长三角、粤港澳与西南四大区域，却共同勾勒着当代中国设计的生长轨迹与多元表情。

当承载着年度认可与期待的奖杯陆续寄出，我们陆续收到了来自各地工作室发回的影像记录：这些奖杯悄然融入他们日常的工作场景——绘图台的一角、堆满模型的桌面、窗边的光影里，甚至与未完成的草图并置。每一张返图，不仅是一份确认，更是一帧未被预设的切片，投射出背后真实、生动且迥异的设计日常。同时，也非常感谢2025 young获得者的反馈与分享。

在此，我们想与读者朋友们分享这些“奖杯的在场”，以及它们所诉说的、关于创作现场的细小真实。

In 2025, we selected 20 young and vibrant design practices from across the country, tracing diverse creative trajectories that span Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Hong Kong, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Yunnan. Scattered like a constellation across four major regions—the North, the Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Southwest—they collectively map the growth and plural expressions of contemporary Chinese design.

As the trophies carrying our annual recognition and expectations were gradually delivered, we began to receive visual responses from studios across different cities. In these images, the trophies quietly entered their everyday working environments—resting at the corner of a drawing table, among model-filled desks, within shifting light by the window, or placed alongside unfinished sketches. Each return image was not merely a confirmation of receipt, but an unpremeditated fragment, revealing the authentic, vivid, and distinctly different realities of design practice behind each studio. We are also deeply grateful for the feedback and sharing from the 2025 Young award recipients.

Here, we would like to share with our readers these moments of the trophies’ “presence,” and the small yet telling truths they reveal about the scenes of creation.
