Reef是我们接触到一个非常激动人心的项目，第一次现场实地勘测时团队就被宽阔一览无遗的海景所打动。青岛以其沙滩浴场海洋文化所闻名，位于八大关的太平角一路就是其标志性的观景地之一。

Reef is a very exciting project that we have come into contact with. Our team was moved by the wide and panoramic sea view during the first field survey. Qingdao is know for vast coastline and beach culture, and Taipingjiao 1st Road, located in Badaguan, is one of its landmark scenic spots.

从与业主沟通之初，Reef就旨在成为一个不受市场设计风格变化的易于维护的咖啡社交场所，为沿岸上漫步的行人以及专程前来的食客提供一个充满魅力的空间。建筑坐落在沿岸堤坝上，需要承受海边潮湿的侵袭和长时间日光照射覆盖。

From the beginning of communication with the owners, Reef aims to become an easy-to-maintain coffee social place that is not subject to changes in the design style, and provide a charming space for pedestrians walking along the coast and diners who come specially. The building is located on the embankment along the coast, and needs to withstand the invasion of the seaside humidity and long-term sunlight .

巧妙地把海洋-地面-室内的建筑递增关系逻辑延续至室内座位的布置上来，有效地把室内最底部的观景视野最大化。

The logic of the increasing relationship between the ocean, the ground and the interior has been clev-erly extended to the layout of the interior seats, effectively maximizing the view at the bottom of the interior.

通过光影和弧度空间塑造，从入门处推开玻璃门拥有豁然开朗的感觉。

Through the shaping of light, shadow and radian space, you can open the glass door from the en-trance and have a clear feeling.

项目探索了一种自然的度假风格设计，优美的空间体量通过柔和的米色奶油色、外开斜切天花结构得以凸显。半弧形的入口幽曲将人们引向以水纹磨砂玻璃围合的入口面，并在层叠的原石块吧台和六面可打开的落地窗作用下增强了与海洋亲密存在感。

The project explores a natural holiday style design, and the beautiful space volume is highlighted by the soft cream-colored beige and the external oblique cut ceiling structure. The half-arc entrance se-renity leads people to the entrance surrounded by grain frosted glass, and enhances the intimate presence with the ocean under the action of the original stone bar and six openable windows.

大型石块错叠的咖啡吧台作为整个空间的核心内容，咖啡师的制作场景在其中围绕，同时将客人们的视野引向壮观的海岸。不同的散座区以吧台为中心向外延伸，通过不同层高的落差带来整个海滩的海滨盛景。用餐区在规模和简洁感上均与海洋形成呼应，是一个巨大且结构清晰的开放空间，拥有来自所有方向的视野，在建筑体块庇护下成为一个室内空间与自然景观上互通的场所。

As the core content of the whole space, the large stone coffee bar is surrounded by the production scene of the barista, and at the same time, the guests’ vision is directed to the spectacular coast. The different scattered areas extend outward with the bar as the center, and bring the seashore scenery of the whole beach through the drop of different floors. The dining area echoes the ocean in scale and conciseness. It is a huge and clearly structured open space, with vision from all directions, and be-comes a place where indoor space and natural landscape are interconnected under the protection of building blocks.

用餐空间氛围的营造是我们构思设计过程中非常重要部分。与海洋如何互通，当人们在和空间景观交流时，围着动线行走观看的视野，如何产生不同心理状态，这是空间设计的作用，细节使空间更加精彩。通过建立人与周围独特的联系，营造气氛情绪。

The creation of dining space atmosphere is a very important part of our conceptual design pro-cess. How to communicate with the ocean, how to create different psychological states when people walk around the moving line and watch the vision when communicating with the space landscape, is the role of space design, and details make the space more exciting. Create an atmosphere and mood by building a unique connection between people and their surroundings.

线性拉长的空间中，随着空间的收与放，光线的明与暗，用餐者在行进中感受光线和动线有节奏的呼吸。绕曲行走的动作，参观者对室内空间的体验不断被转向，在这里，大海成为了空间感知的重要坐标。

In a linearly elongated space, as the space is opened and closed, and the light is bright and dark, the diner feels the rhythmic breathing of light and moving line while walking. With the action of walking around the curve, the visitors’ experience of the interior space is constantly turned. Here, the sea has become an important coordinate of space perception.
