Wiener Essig Brauerei - Viennese Courtyard Landscape and Noble Sour Store by heri&salli

The architectural studio heri&salli created for the “Wiener Essig Brauerei” (Vienna vinegar brewery) an amplification of an already existing production-and living space in Vienna. A terraced landscape that includes different uses, lounge areas and meeting points for the visitors was realised.
It was a priority to convey the atmosphere of the already existing production facility, and simultaneously to visualize social and sustainable aspects of a corporate concept.

醋桶放置在屋顶平台，啤酒则放置在特殊的木桶里进行发酵。院落中的其它各层分布着家禽养殖场、雨水收集处、草药种植区、蜂蜜工厂、果蔬园以及简单的休闲区域，共同形成一个宁静而丰富的复合型生产场地。

Vinegar barrels exposed on the roofs, beer fermentation in special wooden barrels, poultry raising, rainwater collection points, herb cultivation, honey production, different types of fruits and vegetables, but also simple lounge areas on different levels in the yard thus became a conglomerate of production, ripening times as moments of peace and quiet, conscious consumption and experience.

新增的体量为既有建筑赋予了更多空间和感官上的价值。设计的最终目的是通过形态构造上的干预，将酿造厂打造为一处自给自足的劳动及社会系统，同时便于对现有结构进行增加或删减，使建筑为产品开发提供支持。

In the form of enlargement areas of the existing buildings, these levels create a spatial and sensual added value. The object was to further concretise the already initiated process and the comprehension of a self-sufficient working social circuit by means of constructional interventions and if required add new elements or remove others. Architecture can take up developments and support them.

heri& salli建筑工作室还为酿醋厂设计了全新的展示和售卖空间，旨在对实体产品进行充分的展示。占据整个空间的置物架是本次设计的出发点。该框架不仅仅是一个二维的展示平台，同时还是一个包含了工作台、衣柜、收银台和资料展示柜的立体结构。新增的体量使空间变得更加统一和完整。

The studio also created a new show-and salesroom for the brewery in order to exhibit actual products. The starting point for the design was the idea of a shelve that fills the entire room.
With the help of a framework the object is to understand the shelve not only as a 2-dimensional presentation layer but also as a construction which includes working places, wardrobes, cash-desk area or information niches. The added value is part of the integrated opportunities.

置物架的可折叠性使空间具有了扩大的可能。脱离材料本身来讲，该设计是在一个坐标系中，对场所和空间关系进行的探索。在这一语境中，框架代表了空间与可能性的共存，成为一个包含了多种空间表现的结构。工作台是空间中的一个出彩之处，与室内的产品形成视觉等各种层面上的关联。

Foldable levels offer the possibility to enlarge the space.
Detached from a material terminology the project becomes a search for places and relations in a coordinate system. The framework in this context is a symbiosis between space and possibility, a structure of possible spatial manifestations. The workplace is part of a superior idea of space in which we enter coincidentally- surrounded by references and visual relations to the products. We look for the opportunities that the space offers and give them contents.
