The project is located in the “Jardín D`Obradors Sur”, pretending to be a new attraction for the people during the summer months. From an irregular plot and restrictive planning regulations raises a number of buildings with circular plant with two main objectives; in one hand get the inside circulations as much fluid as possible; In the other, remove the corridor roof of the buildig to fit the entire program required. The access leads to a small square from which you can view all access to the different buildings thus facilitating orientation within the complex. Once through the square, the pools. The materials are minimum: concrete, steel and glass. Raises twelve independent buildings. One for each of the different uses needed for the pools: access, showers, toilets, nursing, bar, and storage facilities. Monolithic concrete buildings bathed in natural light inside are forming a small square providing access to the pools. ALVAREZ CUBELLS ARCHITECTS

The design team by Gorka Álvarez and Clara Cubells studies in the School of Building Engineering of the Politechnical University of Valencia finishing in 2004; after studies Architecture in the Cardenal Herrera University combining these studies with project management for different building companies finishing in 2008.

In 2008 was founded Alvarez Cubells Architects with placement in Quart de Poblet (Valencia, Spain), whose purpose is to provide a complete service in architecture to developers, builders and private clients. Since then as a complement to the work done in the study, they have presented to national and international competitions obtaining several awards and recognitions. Gorka is currently pursuing his PHD in monolithic architecture in the Architectural Design Department in the Architecture School Of Valencia (UPV).
