深圳是一个充满创新与活力的现代都市，在它的北部——光明区，一粒科学的种子正破土而出，迸发出蓬勃生机。近年来，在国家的战略规划指引下，光明区成为大湾区广深港澳科学与创新走廊上的重要组团，也是深圳打造国家综合科学中心的载体。生命科学、信息科学、材料科学和空间科学将成为它的创新引擎。

Shenzhen is a modern metropolis filled with innovation and vitality. In its northern district—Guangming—a seed of science is taking root and flourishing with remarkable energy. In recent years, guided by national strategic strategies, Guangming District has become a key hub within the Science and Innovation Corridor of the Greater Bay Area, as well as an important platform supporting Shenzhen’s ambition to build a comprehensive national science center. Life sciences, information sciences, material sciences, and space sciences will serve as the district’s major engines of innovation.

2018年，深圳市委、市政府将科学城布局在光明区，要求光明以最高水平、最高标准谋划建设科学城。2019年光明区积极响应大湾区规划，加快推进作为国家战略“世界一流科学城”和“深圳北部中心”的建设，开启科学公园的规划建设。山水比德联合新加坡盛裕集团中标科学公园项目，为光明科学公园进行规划、景观、建筑、室内、桥梁、水利、照明、标识标志等综合设计。

In 2018, the Shenzhen Municipal Government planned Guangming as the site for the Science City, calling for its planning and development at the highest standards and with world-class vision. In 2019, responding to the Greater Bay Area development strategy, Guangming accelerated the construction of a “world-class science city” and the “northern center of Shenzhen,” officially launching the planning and development of Guangming Science Park. Guangzhou S.P.I Design Co., Ltd., together with Surbana Jurong Consultants, won the bid for the project and delivered an integrated design solution for Guangming Science Park, covering master planning, landscape, architecture, interior design, bridges, hydraulic engineering, lighting, and signage systems.

历时三年多的潜心建设，光明科学公园于2024年正式投入运营，以生态、艺术、科普、运动、休闲、游览等多功能，赋能光明科学城的建设，为生活、工作在这里的科研工作者和市民们，提供一个生态休闲、轻松玩乐的自然科学乐园。

After more than three years of dedicated construction, Guangming Science Park officially opened in 2024. Integrating ecology, art, science education, sports, leisure, and recreation, the park contributes to the development of Guangming Science City while providing researchers, local residents, and visitors with a natural science destination for relaxation, exploration, and everyday enjoyment.

Project Overview

光明科学公园，坐落于深圳市光明区的心脏地带，以其208.2万平方米的广阔绿意，成为深圳北部中心的“绿色核心”，将为光明科学城国际化高品质公共服务配套，打造世界一流的科学性综合公园。

Located at the heart of Guangming District, Shenzhen, Guangming Science Park spans an expansive 2.082 million square meters of greenery. As the “green core” of Shenzhen’s northern center, the park is envisioned as a world-class comprehensive science park, providing high-quality international public amenities for Guangming Science City.

光明科学城作为国家战略，是“双区”关于科技创新的连接点，科学公园的规划设计面临着多重挑战。
如何在保存原有生态基地上，同时做到为各类动植物的安全栖息地和为城区居民提供亲近大自然的游憩场所？
公园内的河道作为行洪河道，如何在确保防洪安全的同时，创造亲水宜人的水岸空间？ 作为科学城的核心区域，如何通过公园建设赋能区域内科学产业发展，为周边的科学工作群体构建复合的生态系统和城市公共活动空间？
经过多次实地调研考察，以及和政府、运营方、合作方的无数次头脑风暴式的讨论分析，团队最终给出了最佳方案。

As a national strategic initiative, Guangming Science City serves as a vital link for technological innovation within the “Dual Zones” development strategy. The planning and design of Guangming Science Park therefore faced multiple challenges.
How could the original ecological landscape be preserved while creating safe habitats for diverse flora and fauna, as well as a nature-oriented recreational destination for urban residents?
As the waterways within the park also function as flood-control channels, how could flood safety requirements be met while creating welcoming and accessible waterfront spaces?
As the core area of the Science City, how could the park stimulate the development of the regional science industry while establishing a multidimensional ecosystem and vibrant public space for surrounding research communities?
Through extensive site investigations, in-depth field research, and countless rounds of brainstorming and analysis with government authorities, operators, and project partners, the design team ultimately provided the optimal solution.

整体规划——科学领航 光明蝶变
Master Planning — Science-led Vision, Transforming Guangming

围绕光明区建设世界级科学城的整体目标，北翼柴山、南翼楼村水的自然山水格局，设计提出“科学领航 光明蝶变”主题概念。
在此布局之下，公园如同一只破茧而出的蝴蝶，在蝶状基底发展基础上，以“一核两翼——科学核·山水翼”科学结构，引领光明展翅腾飞。

Guided by the overarching goal of developing Guangming District into a world-class science city, and shaped by its natural landscape of Chai Mountain in the northern wing and Loucun Water in the southern wing, the design proposes the conceptual theme of “Science-led Vision, Transforming Guangming.”
Within the overall planning, the park is envisioned as a butterfly emerging from its cocoon. Built upon a butterfly-inspired morphology, the masterplan establishes a structural system of “One Core, Two Wings — the Scientific Core and the Landscape Wings,” leading Guangming toward a new phase of dynamic growth.

总体布局上，规划了“一带、两轴、三区”的园城交融空间，包括科学体验带、城市发展轴、城市山水轴、城市科学周轴，以及科学核、北翼山地公园和南翼活力公园。创新特色上，提出生态优先、以产谋城、城市名片三大设计策略，通过生态重塑、科学内涵展示、科学语汇空间塑造，以及城市山水剧场的营造，打造一个既具有科学探索精神，又充满自然生态美的城市新地标。

The design organizes a spatial structure of “One Belt, Two Axes, and Three Zones,” creating an integrated park-city interface. This includes the Science Experience Belt, the Urban Development Axis, the Urban Landscape Axis, and the Urban Science Loop Axis, as well as the Scientific Core, the Northern Mountain Park, and the Southern Vitality Park. It proposes three key strategic approaches: ecological priority, development through industry-city integration, and city identity branding. Through ecological restoration, the expression of scientific narratives, the spatial translation of scientific language, and the creation of an urban landscape theater, the project aims to build a new urban landmark that embodies both scientific exploration and natural ecological beauty.

作为大湾区未来的核心绿地，光明科学公园不仅承载着生态、艺术、科普、运动、休闲、游览等多功能，还需协调城市规划与周边地块的联系，形成统一协同发展，紧密的功能连接和空间缝合，构建复合的生态系统和城市公共活动空间，打造独特的城市中央区。
科学公园的建设分为二期，一期为南翼、北翼，二期为一核区域。目前，北翼面积约98万㎡，于2024年5月投入运营使用；南翼也于2026年5月正式开放。

As a future central green space of the Greater Bay Area, Guangming Science Park not only integrates ecology, art, science education, sports, leisure, and recreation, but also strengthens coordination with surrounding urban districts. It forms a tightly connected spatial and functional network, enabling synergistic development and a composite urban ecosystem that supports diverse public activities, ultimately shaping a distinctive central urban district.
The park is developed in two phases: Phase I includes the Northern Wing and Southern Wing, while Phase II focuses on the Central Core. The Northern Wing, covering approximately 980,000 square meters, officially opened in May 2024. The Southern Wing also opened in May 2026.

公园北翼设计解码
Design Decoding of the Northern Wing

科学公园北翼设计回归自然山林，以生态、野趣氛围体验为主，保留原生荔枝树。轻设计结合柴山丰富的地形和谷地资源，打造6大自然剧场、3条科学主题登山道，并利用绝佳观景空间搭建林梢栈道、观景平台。同时以柴山至高点作为公园最高处观景点，建设科学顶环廊，形成极目远眺、纵览全局的景观体验。

The design of the Northern Wing returns to a natural forest landscape, emphasizing ecological immersion and a wild, nature-oriented experience. Existing ecological assets, including native lychee trees, are carefully preserved. Through a light design approach that responds to the rich topography and valley resources of Chai Mountain, the design creates six natural theaters and three science-themed hiking trails. Canopy walkways and viewing platforms are introduced to take advantage of exceptional viewpoints within the forest landscape. At the highest point of Chai Mountain, the park integrates a landmark viewing structure—the Mountaintop Building—establishing a panoramic viewpoint that overlooks the entire park and offers an expansive visual experience.

1座向往光明的科学顶
The Mountaintop Building — A Science Landmark in Pursuit of Light

在光明科学公园（北翼）的心脏地带，科学顶以其独特的“宇宙飞盘”造型盘旋于公园的制高点——柴山之巅，与屹立于湖边的“宇宙飞船”科技馆相互呼应，成为公园乃至整个深圳科技精神的象征。

At the heart of the Northern Wing, the Mountaintop Building is positioned at the highest point of Chai Mountain, forming a distinctive “flying saucer” form that hovers above the mountain peak. It visually resonates with the lakeside Science Museum shaped as a “spaceship,” together becoming a symbolic expression of the scientific spirit of the park and Shenzhen as a whole.

设计充分考虑柴山的整体环境，以轻介入手法设计了一枚“轻巧的指环”，轻轻嵌入山体，融入自然。科学顶环廊周长156.1米，与光明区面积156.1万平米一致，预示着光明的科学犹如启明星一样照亮整个片区。

The design responds holistically to the natural environment of Chai Mountain through a low-intervened strategy, embedding a delicate ring-like structure into the terrain and integrating it with the landscape. The Ring Corridor of the Mountaintop Building has a circumference of 156.1 meters, corresponding to Guangming District’s area of 1.561 million square meters, symbolizing science as a guiding star illuminating the entire district.

设计希望通过建筑与自然的对话，由自然到建筑，由建筑外到建筑内，着力点在空间塑造、光影变化和材料的对话关系上。建筑内部通透，不设遮挡，仅以玻璃幕墙划分出科学阅览室、境咖啡空间，而外部的天空之境则是一个无与伦比的环廊观景台，让游客可以360°纵览光明中心区的城市风光，感受城市与自然的和谐共生。

The design emphasizes a dialogue between architecture and nature, progressing from landscape to architecture and from exterior expression to interior spatial experience, focusing on spatial composition, light and shadow interplay, and material relationships. The interior space is open and transparent, with no visual obstruction, defined only by glass façades enclosing the Science Reading Room and a café space. The Sky Mirror ring corridor forms a 360-degree viewing platform, allowing visitors to overlook the urban landscape of Guangming’s central district and experience the harmonious integration of city and nature.

Three Diversified Science Trails

公园以三条科学主题登山道，通过自然再野化的设计手法对山地进行低影响的开发，将自然与科学完美结合。

The park features three science-themed hiking trails. Through a nature rewilding design approach, the mountainous terrain is developed with low intervention, achieving an integration of nature and science.

科普教育之径：围绕光明区三大科学产业，打造生命科学、信息科学、材料科学之径，在自然中传播科学知识、激发探索热情。
科学历史之径：涵盖从古至今，生命、信息、材料科学的重大发现、理论演进、技术突破的重要轨迹，让人们了解科学如何发展起来。
科学互动之径：通过艺术与科学知识相结合的设计手法打造科学互动之径，让科学更具活力与生命力，使人们更深入了解到科学就在生活的各个角落。

The Science Education Trail：Focusing on Guangming District’s three key scientific industries, the trail explores themes of life sciences, information sciences, and material sciences, conveying scientific knowledge within a natural setting and inspiring a spirit of exploration.
The Science History Trail：Spanning from ancient times to the present, the trail traces key milestones in life, information, and material sciences, including major discoveries, theoretical evolutions, and technological breakthroughs, allowing visitors to understand how science has developed over time.
The Science Interaction Trail：Integrating art and scientific knowledge, the trail creates an interactive experiential route where science becomes more dynamic and alive, enabling visitors to recognize that science exists in every aspect of daily life.

Along the way, visitors may find solitude on ecologically crafted footpaths, engage in reflection along contemplative trails on profound scientific ideas, or immerse themselves with curiosity and enthusiasm in the mysteries of nature—expanding the boundaries of human understanding and pursuing the endless light of science.

6大科学内涵的自然剧场
Six Natural Theaters of Scientific Imagination

设计以柴山山林作为载体，植入自然科学内涵，抽取自然界中的水、木、雾、声、丘、月等元素，打造大自然剧场。剧场以各个元素作为设计来源，充分展示大自然的魅力与奇妙，弘扬自然科学精神。

Set within the forested landscape of Chai Mountain, the design integrates natural scientific narratives into the terrain. Drawing inspiration from elemental forces in nature—water, wood, mist, sound, hill, and moon—the project creates six nature theaters that express the wonder of the natural world and celebrate the spirit of natural science.

声浪剧场｜The Sound Wave Theater

设计可互动的声波装置，当高铁轰鸣而过时，装置将会振动，形成波纹视觉效果，生动形象地将声音可视化。

An interactive acoustic installation is introduced, designed to respond dynamically to passing high-speed trains. When a train rushes by, the device vibrates and generates ripple-like visual patterns, transforming sound into a visible, kinetic experience and making acoustic energy perceptible in spatial form.

森林光束是一个以膜材料为基础的艺术构筑，将蝶翼的纹理作为基底，通过“蝶”休憩于山林，轻盈的羽翼叠加在荔枝林中，阳光洒落，恍如森林中绿色的光束，营造艺术又闲逸的空间。

The Forest Light Beam is an artistic structure based on tensile membrane material. Inspired by the texture of butterfly wings, the design overlays a sense of lightness onto the lychee forest landscape. As sunlight filters through the canopy, the space resembles luminous green beams within the forest, creating an atmosphere that is both poetic and tranquil.

雾森剧场｜The Mist Forest Theater

位于山脚下的雾森剧场分为绿驿广场和“荔”野仙踪。宽阔松弛的绿驿广场被四周葱郁高大的树木包围，是人们可以停留、聚集和交流的地方，就像旅途中的驿站一样。大草坪面积约为9600平方米，可以为市民提供休闲和露营、放风筝、小型活动音乐会的场地。

Located at the foot of the mountain, the Mist Forest Theater consists of Green Transit Plaza and “Lychee Fantasy.” The spacious and relaxed plaza is surrounded by dense, mature vegetation, serving as a place for rest, gathering, and interaction—functioning like a rest station along a journey. A large lawn of approximately 9,600 square meters provides space for leisure activities, camping, kite flying, and small-scale community performances.

广场边上设计了可以互动的云朵水雾模拟装置，穿梭于云朵下，脚踩感应平台，触发水雾装置，云朵喷洒水雾，模拟自然天气，仿佛置身迷雾森林，将自然气象场景重现。

Alongside the plaza, an interactive cloud-and-mist installation is designed. Visitors trigger sensors beneath their feet, activating water mist devices that simulate natural weather conditions, allowing users to immerse themselves in a mist-filled forest atmosphere that recreates natural climatic phenomena.

水能剧场｜The Water Power Theater

设计结合自然山体排水形成的池塘，是以水为主要元素和动力来源构建的自然场所。水在这里发挥着关键作用，形成独特景观，结合折流湿地的设计理念，科普湿地进化系统。通过大自然来作为户外课堂。

Formed in response to the site’s natural drainage system and existing ponds, the Water Power Theater is a landscape space shaped by water as both material and driving force. Water plays a central role in defining the spatial character, creating a distinctive ecological landscape. Combined with constructed wetland principles, the design interprets wetland evolution as an outdoor learning environment, transforming the site into an open-air ecological classroom.

风语剧场｜The Wind Whisper Theater

位于柴山半山腰的林梢栈道，像树梢上的白色飘带。站在观景台上，可以俯瞰科技馆、远眺光明湖，视野观景俱佳。设计采用部分双层式观景与360度环线平台走廊，让游人多角度欣赏光明中心区的风景。

Located along the mid-slope forest canopy walkway of Chai Mountain, the Wind Whisper Theater takes the form of a white ribbon-like pathway weaving through the treetops. From the viewing platform, visitors can overlook the Science Museum and gaze toward Guangming Lake, enjoying expansive panoramic views. The design introduces a partially double-layered observation system and a 360-degree looped walkway, allowing multiple perspectives of the urban core landscape.

而在山的另一侧的翠影桥路则以竹子为主题，将翠绿的竹影与桥融合，带给游人另一番静谧的感受体验。路上设置了休息停留的驿站，可在竹林下游玩、读书、休憩、下棋、远眺、肆意欢乐，无限畅想生活状态。

On the opposite side of the mountain, the Cuiying Bridge Route is designed around bamboo as the core theme, integrating green bamboo shadows with the bridge structure to create a serene spatial experience. Resting nodes along the route allow visitors to read, rest, play chess, or simply enjoy the bamboo forest setting, offering moments of contemplation and leisure within nature.

公园内结合场地自然特点设计了不少观景平台，为人们提供绝佳的观景体验，不仅能让游客能够欣赏到开阔的自然风光和城市景观，还增强了人与自然的互动，提供了一个亲近和了解生态多样性的场所。

Multiple viewing platforms are integrated throughout the park in response to the site’s natural conditions. These platforms not only offer expansive views of both natural and urban landscapes, but also enhance human–nature interaction, creating spaces that encourage closer engagement with ecological diversity and the surrounding environment.

随着阳光落在光明科学公园（北翼）的绿意盎然之中，我们仿佛能感受到深圳这座城市的绿色心脏轻轻跳动。它以生态为基，以科技为翼，以艺术为魂，成为艺术与科学、自然与生活的交融地。在这里，每一次深呼吸，都是与自然的亲密对话；每一次目光所及，都是科技与艺术的完美交融。科学的魅力在这里轻松可触，自然的松弛感轻易可得，让人在忙碌的都市生活中找到一片宁静的净土。

As sunlight filters through the lush landscape of Guangming Science Park (Northern Wing), the park reveals the gentle pulse of Shenzhen’s green heart. Rooted in ecology, propelled by science, and enriched by art, it becomes a place where science and art, nature and everyday life intertwine. Every deep breath here becomes an intimate dialogue with nature, while every gaze reveals the harmonious fusion of technology and art. The wonder of science is rendered tangible and accessible, while the restorative calm of nature offers a quiet retreat from the pace of urban life, allowing moments of tranquility to emerge within the city.

Guangming Science Park is not merely a park, but a vision of future living. With the completion of the Southern Wing and the Central Core, this vibrant green oasis will evolve into the “urban heart” of northern Shenzhen—injecting continuous vitality into the development of Guangming Science City while creating a social destination defined by authenticity, atmosphere, and a strong sense of place.
