Utility Mirror

一款带着橡胶把手的镜子且同时也方便悬挂的镜子，把手蔓延到圆面镜子的中下部，猛看过去很容易让来自乒乓球大国的我们误以为是乒乓球拍。

Good Thing, the new Brooklyn-based manufacturing company joins forces with Joseph Guerra and Sina Sohrab of New York based Studio Visibility to manufacture the Utility Mirror.

The Utility Mirror is made by polishing a piece of stainless steel to a perfect mirror finish and dipping it in industrial rubber tool grip. By celebrating the marriage of these industrial methods, the object encourages use with the language of utility.

The Utility Mirror will debut in several pop-up shops and design events throughout the USA and abroad, including the American Deisgn Club Pop-Up Shop, Design Miami/Basel, Tictail’s Manhattan pop-up shop, and Wanted Design’s Made in Brooklyn Holiday Market.

Sticker Clock Special

Brooklyn-based artist Elliot Camarra brings something special to the Sticker Clock with four uniquehand-drawn patterns. The Sticker Clock is non-damaging to painted walls and can be reapplied up to 200 times.

Comprised of only a vinyl sticker and standard clock parts, the Sticker Clock strips time down to its most basic elements. The Sticker Clock is non-damaging to painted walls and can be reapplied up to 200 times.

ABOUT GOOD THING

Good Thing is a Brooklyn-based manufacturer of small products and accessories run by designers Samantha Anderson and Jamie Wolfond. Using their combined design and manufacturing ingenuity, Wolfond and Anderson produce affordable, minimal and expressive housewares, all in the USA.Designing an object that can be manufactured locally and inexpensively requires many levels of collaboration. To develop a new product, Good Thing works closely with designers and producers from the very earliest stages of the design process. This method yields objects that are strengthened by the inherent qualities of the materials and processes used to make them.
