Appreciation towards JS.L for providing the following description:

SCAU为法国特鲁瓦商业学校设计了全新的校园空间，其中一条贯穿学校的室内“街道”串联起了各个空间，成为了校园的中轴。课室空间方正实用，而中部的空间则被建筑师有意留出，为熙熙攘攘的热闹学生生活提供一片公共场地。学校邀请Atelier JS.L为这片场地设计家具与空间，以激活场地。在对校方管理团队以及学生群体做出了详细的调研与采访，确定空间使用和家具上的需求后，由Jean-Sébastien Lagrange创立的工业设计事务所因地制宜，交付了两组极具针对性的设计。

Troyes Business School in France now has a new campus designed by SCAU agency including an “interior street”, providing the real backbone to the building. The classrooms are essentially functional, but this central area has been left empty by the architects to accommodate the hustle and bustle of student life. The school wanted Atelier JS.L to take responsibility for equipping and furnishing this space turning it into a lively area to gather in at the heart of the establishment.

After an initial period of observation and interviewing the management teams and students to define what is lacking and the needs in terms of use and furnishings, the industrial design studio founded by Jean-Sébastien Lagrange has proposed two designs specifically for the campus.

入口空间
The entrance

曾经因为缺少座椅而无人问津的入口区域如今加上了一排座椅。这不仅让建筑显得更为平易近人，同时其表面也契合着入口处的坡地而变化色彩，为校园更添活力。兼具功能与美学的设计为学生们提供了课间休息、讨论的场所，也成为了一道线性的引导符号，如同箭头般指向不远处的问讯台。

Abandoned by the students due to a lack of seats, the entrance has been enhanced with a row of seats. This addition makes the building more welcoming and has a double use. The row of seats snugly fits the sloping ground and brings a colourful dynamic to the area through its gradients. Deliberately ambiguous regarding function and aesthetics (rest or teaching), this seating system allows you to pause between two lessons, but it is also a “line”, an arrow prompting busy visitors to cross the space to reach the reception located several metres further on.

咖啡厅
Cafeteria

在“街道”中部的咖啡厅，学生们可以用餐、工作或是休息聊天。两个木制平台如同岛屿般散落在空间中，在保留花岗岩地面完整性的同时，以错落的高度划分空间。吧台、写字桌或是咖啡桌，学生可以根据自己的需要选择相应的环境。而色彩缤纷的桌椅也为空间增添了一分活跃的气息。

In the middle of the interior street, the layout of the cafeteria is convivial and open comprising a restaurant and an area to work or for relaxation. A set of platforms enables the areas to be delineated and the uses diversified by playing with the height of the work surfaces without varying the distance from the granite floor. Students have a choice of high tables, worktables and coffee tables. The colourful furniture trend highlights this progression.
