With his pilot project ‘El Banquete’, graphic designer and illustrator Martin Satí realized a creative process and a symbiosis between the tutor and students. Using fruits, vegetables and small glasses arranged in rows, he managed to create a situation in which working together in a relaxed way, like a big family sitting around a table to eat and tell their stories, became a new experience. ‘El Banquete’ can be seen as a graphic action in ten steps which is documenting the development of the artwork to get the final result. Through these ten steps, our history is emerging, as an evolutionary process. The intention was that the student and the tutor learn to build their work with everything that happened.
