2021年4月6日-6月14日，由A8设计中心主办，于麓湖呈现“湖岸2公里：西南独立建筑师2021麓湖跨界联展”。该活动由31名独立建筑师沿湖水岸搭建实验性打卡点。以多角度的思维方式，跨界公共艺术，去探寻建筑师自我表达的方式。同时以创意、开放、沉浸式展览为起点，探索设计的公共性。凹叵建筑荣幸受邀此次联展，为山林溪谷水岸广场设计标志性的节点艺术装置。

From April 6th to June 14th, 2021, A8 Design Center will present “2km from the lakeshore: Southwest Independent Architects 2021 Luxe Lake Cross-Border Joint Exhibition” in Luxe Lake . Thirty-one independent architects set up experimental check-in points along the lake shore for this event. With multi-angle thinking and cross-border public art, to explore the way of architects to express themselves. Simultaneously, starting from creative, open and immersive exhibitions, to explore the publicity of design. AUP Architects was invited to design an iconic node installation for an open waterfront plaza.

本案位于麓客岛山林溪谷与亲水联展轴线相接的节点位置，场地背山面水，层层叠落。同时位于联合展览的第8号点位，与云朵公园隔湖相望。

General, this project is located at the node where the Luxes Island intersects the axis of Hydrophilic Joint Exhibition. And also, the No. 8 spot of the Joint Exhibition faces Cloud Park across the lake, behind which is a stepped landscape platform.

创造一个景观构筑物不如营造属于场地的自然，它可以让场地/人/活动都激发新的意义。这是偶然间一个雪人对于我们的启发，当冬季家长带着小孩们去雪地玩耍, 无论是铲雪，打雪仗，堆雪人，其实玩雪的意义对于大家都是一样的。但是，当堆出来的雪人能成为大家争相拍照的道具,那么它就成了该场所的景点, 让玩雪附有更多层次的意义。

Creating a landscape is not as good as creating nature that belongs to the site. It can inspire new meanings for the site/people/events. This is the occasional inspiration for us by a snowman. When parents take their children to play in winter, whether it is shoveling snow, playing snowballs, or making snowmen, the meaning of playing is the same for everyone. However, when the snowman can become a prop for everyone to take photos, then it becomes the attraction of the place, giving playing in the snow with more rich meaning.

那么，提及麓湖舒适的生态环境，给人的感觉就是植被众多,树木茂密。对于树来讲，其实跟玩雪的含义是一样的，“树” 对每个人的固有概念也是一样的。结合我们所设计的场地，想把 “树”的概念强调出来，去体现麓湖所强调的生态理念。另一层寓意，对于我们新兴团队，我们也希望团队像树一样茁壮生长, 像烟花一样绽放。因此，雪人的启示是在地的材料+在地的气候+在地的创造。这也是我们设计所强调的，“树”不仅仅是树本身的含义，也是可以与周边环境和人能产生互动的精神场所。最终，“绽放”由此诞生。

Then, when it comes to the comfortable ecological environment of Luxe Lake, it gives the impression that there are many trees. For trees, it is the same meaning as playing in the snow, and the inherent concept of ‘tree’ is also the same for everyone. Combined with the site we designed; we want to emphasize the concept of ‘tree’ to reflect the ecological concept emphasized by Luxe Lake. Another implication is that for our emerging team, we also hope that the team will thrive like a tree and bloom like a firework. Therefore, the revelation of the snowman is local materials + climate + creation. This is also what our design emphasizes, the ‘tree’ is not only the meaning of the tree itself, but also a spiritual place that can interact with the surrounding environment and people. Finally, ‘Bloom’ was born.

在材质选择上，基于对麓湖原有一些艺术装置的材质考虑。首先是耐候钢板的使用，但结合到我们自己的设计，装置的一部分会伸入水中，而耐候钢表面的锈迹很容易对周围水体和广场地砖造成污染，因此该材料被排除。最终结合成本控制以及对场地周边环境整体协调感的考虑，我们采用白色的金属漆，不仅能呼应麓湖自身的建筑环境还能保持与麓湖里原有的白色艺术装置统一性和匹配性。在工艺上，我们通过底漆、磨砂金属漆多道喷涂的方式，使装置在呈现时，达到一种温润清透的质感。

In terms of material selection, it is based on the material consideration of some original art installations in Luxe Lake. The first is the use of weathering steel, but combined with our own design, part of the device will extend into the water, then the rust on the surface of the weathering steel can easily pollute the surrounding water and floor tiles, so this material is excluded. Finally, in combination with cost control and consideration of the overall coordination of the site surrounding environment, we adopted white metallic paint, which can not only echo the environment of Luxe Lake itself, but also maintain the unity and compatibility with the original white art installations in Luxe Lake. From the technological point of view, we used primer and grinding metallic paint in multiple spraying to achieve a warm and clear texture when the device is presented.

我们选用3mm和5mm钢板在车间激光精雕，运至加工厂进行焊接成独立的“枝条” 。 “枝条”运往麓客岛水岸安装焊接，拼合成“树”。而完成后的“树” 能直接放于地面，这种安装方式也未对现有的铺地造成任何破坏。组装完毕的装置还需要涂刷腻子，找平，补缝，打磨，平整，然后多道底漆涂刷，多道白色金属防锈漆喷涂。

3mm and 5mm steel plates are selected for laser engraving in the workshop, and transported to the processing factory to be welded into independent ‘twig’. Then all ‘branches’ are transported to the shore of Luke Island to be welded and assembled into a ‘tree’. In the end, the whole ‘tree’ is put on the ground, and this installation method did not damage the paving of the original site. The assembled device also needs to be painted with putty, leveled, mended, polished, smoothed, and then painted with multiple primers. Finally, it is sprayed with multiple white metallic paints.
