网沙发是一组室外用的钢制家具。我们希望利用沙发镂空与反射的效果，使得人坐于其上时，如漂浮在空中一般。

Th Mesh Sofa is a collection of outdoor furniture. Our concept was to use the transparency of the mesh together with the reflective base to achieve an effect where the person seated appears to be floating in air.

 

 

 

网沙发

材料：钢

每个网沙发都由两部分组成：

上部是由纤细的喷塑金属杆（4mm直径）编织出的双曲面，充分贴合人体曲线，可卧可坐。编织形成的镂空效果让沙发具有穿透感。另外，我们利用平面投影的方法来形成这个曲面：每个编织交的空洞投影后都是一个正方形，这让曲面的加工制作更为容易；下部由方形的镜面不锈钢管（40X40mm）焊接而成，钢管反射并融入周边环境，反衬出沙发的上部，让漂浮的效果更加彻底。

网沙发一套4件：1件双人沙发，2件单人沙发，1件茶几。有多种颜色可供选择，可配坐垫。

 

Mesh Sofa

Materials: Steel

Each furniture piece consists of two parts: The upper part is a thin curvilinear mesh shaped to match the curve of a person’s body. It is made of thin 4mm steel wire welded into a surface of compound curvature. The openness of the wire grid achieves a certain amount of transparency. In addition, from above the mesh is a perfect square grid that’s been projected onto a curvilinear surface. This helps in the production process but also creates an interesting effect from different vantage points. In contrast the lower part is a thick rectilinear form welded with 40mm thick stainless steel tubing. It’s mirror finish reflects the surrounding environment to further add to the floating effect of he mesh.

The furniture set comes in various colors options and includes a double seater, two single seaters, and a coffee table.
