BUTTON系列下午茶餐具是独立陶瓷设计工作室所目SOMM设计的新品，整套系列包括大小两套杯碟、不同形状的储物罐以及托盘。BUTTON在英文中有圆形小装饰的意思，通过数字建模以及3D打印制作的模型，餐具的局部呈现精致的几何浮雕纹理，加上瓷器特有的温润质感，使用时不经意间的触摸，也颇有意外之喜。

BUTTON is a new tableware collection from the independent ceramic design studio SOMM. The collection consists of two sets of cup and saucer that vary in size, containers in two shapes and a long flat tray. The word BUTTON here can be interpreted as round shaped trinket, which appears as the key element on each single product in the collection. Each part of the collection is CAD modelled and 3D printing prototyped, to ensure the details of their sophisticated geometric relief. Combined with the gentle texture of porcelain, an unconsciously touch would give the user a mild surprise.

BUTTON系列有青灰与白灰两种配色。

The BUTTON collection comes in two color sets, green-grey and white-grey。

2016年初成立的SOMM所目陶瓷工作室由两个从北欧留学归国的年轻人成立，深受北欧美学的感染，毕业后回国开始设计与制作具有设计感兼具实用性的陶瓷制品。每一件产品都由工作室手工制作，在手工注浆、打磨、上釉的过程中，数字建模的工业痕迹逐渐消失，取而代之的是充满人情味的器皿。

Studio SOMM was formed in Qingdao, China by two graduates that just got back home after finishing their master’s degrees in Denmark. Influenced by Nordic aesthetic, the two founders started the creation of modern ceramic products that emphasize on both design and functionality. Every single piece of ceramic product was handmade in the studio, throughout the process of slip-casting, sanding and glazing, the digital traces on them has been polished away, and what’s left was the ware with a human touch.

我们在品茶或咖啡的时候，会欣赏它的颜色，被它的香味所吸引，聆听冲茶时水流的声音，品尝它的味道，感受它的温度。享用一杯饮品的过程，是一场五感（视觉、嗅觉、听觉、味觉、触觉）的盛宴。作为享用饮品的介质，杯子的材质纹理——细腻的、粗糙的，或是此起彼伏的，承载了丰富的信息，通过敏感的触觉唤起情感记忆。

When we are drinking tea and coffee, it’s the color, the scent, the sound of the pouring water, the taste and the warmth that we are enjoying. It’s a symphony of all five sensations, but there could be more. As the medium for taking a sip of what we enjoy, the texture of the cup, be it smooth or rough, ridges or valleys, is bringing out our emotions when touched.

The colored porcelain is fired to high temperature then water polished, it will become more gentle and warm over time of usage.

The handles are quite detailed and feel interesting when touched.

▽ 杯碟起伏的几何纹理既有装饰效果，也可以储存水迹，保持杯底的干燥。
The geometric texture on the saucers are not only decoration, but can also store water to help keep the bottom of the cup dry.
