来自设计师： 利用类似拔剑与收剑的方式操作光源，透过调整外管的高低位置也可以决定需要光线的多少，并在完全收起的状态下自动关闭电源，在完全开启的状态，也能够折转灯柱，作为阅读灯使用。

from the designer : Shift Light is activated by the movement of sheathing and unsheathing, encapsulating and releasing of the light in a fluid and intuitive motion. The hidden joint serves to shift it from ambient lighting into reading or working illumination.

炘工作室/HCWD Studio

炘工作室，成立於美国纽约，专注的领域跨越工业设计与建筑设计。创立者為工业设计师王新钧与建筑设计师刘燁。“Design that makes sense”以符合人本，融入环境，辅助生活为主要走向，不追求无意义的美观，而追求产品真实的美好面，建筑的在地性和实用性。以建筑视界下的工业设计，工业设计视界下的建筑设计，透过宏观与微观的视角去发现、体验、理解生活中大大小小的瞬间，并以此作為根基，经由实践去探索各种新的生活模式。

HCWD is a New York City-based design studio run by Hsin-Chun Wang & Ye Liu, practices in diverse scales of installation, furniture,architecture, landscape and problem-solving for different projects.
