Wood veneer is designed to be supported by an additional material; constructive elements, surfaces or structures. Disclosing fragile and thin properties of veneer. The ‘linear wood’ series explores and highlights the properties of the material. A strong but ultra-thin structure is craft-fully covered with a thin layer of veneer: showing organic curves, seamless surfaces and continues wood grain. A furniture family designed with the characteristics of wood veneer.
