色彩
Color

当我们进入一个空间的时候，通常会在第一时间被空间的色彩所环抱，注意力也最容易被空间色彩所吸引。我们的这个空间，是一个纯白色的空间。白色的墙顶地漆面，白色的木面，白色的金属板，白色的皮革，白色的陶瓷，超白的玻璃，我们试图营造一种极致的白色空间视觉体验。

When we enter a space, we are usually surrounded by the color of the space at the first time, and our attention is most easily attracted by the color of the space. Our space is a pure white space. White paint on the top of the wall, white wood surface, white metal plate, white leather, white ceramics, ultra white glass, we try to create an extreme white space visual experience.

我们想要通过“白”这个色彩，来体现“净”与“静”的美学观念，在更高的哲学高度上，我们想要用“白”来还原真实世界与心灵世界的一种“初态”，即“性空”。在高鹗续写的《红楼梦》最末章节，他写到一句话“白茫茫一片真干净”，主要形容大雪无痕，掩盖了世间种种……

而我们的这个白色空间，也想要通过“无杂质”的色彩语言，缓缓叙述“历经世间沧桑和时间的洗礼，万事万物都会褪去浮华，展现出其最本真的原始状态”，期望可以引导每一位进入的观者，得以在纯白色的空间中，在无干扰的状态下，抽离出来，回想自己的阅历和经验，逐渐抛去疲累和负担，在自我的关注里对内不断求索，最终回归到自我轻灵的“本真”和“初心”，令塑造空间升华为塑造人心。如初，此为缘起。

We want to embody the aesthetic concept of “purity” and “stillness” through the color of “white”. From a higher philosophical height, we want to use “white” to restore the “initial state” of the real world and the spiritual world, that is, “sexual emptiness”.In the last chapter of 《A dream of Red Mansions》 written by Gao E, he wrote a sentence: “the vast expanse of white is really clean…”, which mainly describes the snow without trace, covering up all kinds of things in the world.

In this white space, we also want to use the color language of “no impurity” to slowly narrate that “after the baptism of the vicissitudes of the world and time, everything will fade away and show its most original state”. We hope that it can guide every viewer to get out of the pure white space and in a state of no interference and recall their reading Experience and experience gradually cast off the fatigue and burden, and constantly seek in the self-care, and finally return to the “true” and “original mind” of the self. So that the shaping of space sublimates to the shaping of people’s hearts. This is the origin.

因为这个空间设计师使用的频次最高，也因为设计师需要面对的设计需求最多，最容易被设计之外的事项干扰，所以，纯白色的空间更利于设计师在创作期间保有更高的设计“纯真度”，并随时可在空间里“内观”、“自省”、找到“初心”，产生更多有价值的设计灵感。

另外,在弧形片墙上安装了彩色灯光，可以单独控制。功能层次上，满足聚会交流的氛围需求；精神层次上，是将内心的挣扎和混乱，通过色彩外化为空间语言，与人的内心对话，然后在常态的、大面积的茫茫白色中，与自己和解。

In addition, color lights are installed on the arc wall, which can be controlled independently. On the functional level, it can meet the atmosphere needs of party communication; on the spiritual level, it is to transform the inner struggle and confusion into space language through color externalization, and then make up with oneself in the normal and large-scale vast white.

结构
Structure

虽然是白色的空间，却不是空无一物。设计师在这个空间中利用到了很多结构上的设计手法，令空间丰满而具有艺术气息，同时，特殊的结构设计中也暗含了设计师的哲学观——“无常”、“无我”。

Although the white space is nothing.Designers use a lot of structural design techniques in this space, making the space full and artistic. At the same time, the special structural design also implies the designer’s Philosophy – “impermanence” and “selflessness”.

 

“无常” | “Impermanence”

地面上用灯带勾勒出来的曲线，以及空间中的曲面墙体，是设计师对中国山水之美的结构拆解。在对原有结构进行了梳理以后，令到观者有“身在山水中”而非山水之外的场景浸入感。这种时断时续的“蜿蜒”“流动”，并不具有特别固定的符号，而是以一种无常的形态散布在空间之中：反复、流动、变换、起伏，形成一种无常的气韵。正所谓：“看山是山，看水是水，看山不是山，看水不是水，看山还是山，看水还是水”。

The curves on the ground and curved walls in the space are the designers’ Deconstruction of the beauty of Chinese landscape. After sorting out the original structure, the viewer has a sense of “being in the landscape” rather than outside the landscape. This intermittent “meandering” and “flowing” does not have a special fixed symbol, but is spread in the space in a form of Impermanence: repetition, flow, transformation, ups and downs, forming an impermanent aura. As the saying goes:”The mountains are mountains, Water is water, The mountains are not mountains, Water is not water, Mountain or mountain, Water or water.”

“无我” | “Without me”

“我”最容易被忘记，也最容易被提起。全屋大面积原始顶面做了反光漆处理，增加空间通透和光感的同时，模糊了空间天地的界限，意在指向我与无我的映射。

“I” is the most easily forgotten and most easily mentioned.A large area of the original roof of the whole house is treated with reflective paint, which increases the space permeability and light sense, and blurs the boundary between space and heaven, aiming to point to the mapping between me and no self.

只在过道部分出现的吊顶，不仅隐藏了中央空调，造型上，以三片式斜顶形式出现，结合灯光，以加强灰空间的导向性。这种出现在空间顶面、貌似“道路”的形式，喻义一种指向，即通向“平和”、“宁静”、“永恒”的心灵彼岸之路。

The ceiling which only appears in the corridor part not only hides the central air conditioning, but also appears in the form of three-piece inclined roof in combination with lighting to strengthen the guidance of gray space. This form, which appears at the top of space and looks like “road”, is a metaphorical direction, that is, the road to the other side of the soul of “peace”, “tranquility” and “eternity”.

空间即是人心，混沌的白，在无常的流动中，架起桥梁，悬浮于水面，倒挂于苍穹，好似“我”一般，看似近在眼前，却又远在天边。世界翻转，天地倒悬，个体在强化的桥梁之上，放弃，消融，最终通向超越的彼岸。放下我执，远离颠倒梦想，究竟涅槃，脚下即是彼岸。

Space is the heart of the people, the white chaos, in the impermanent flow, set up a bridge, suspended in the water, hanging upside down in the sky, like “I” in general, seemingly close to the eyes, but far away in the sky. The world overturns, the heaven and the earth hang upside down, the individual on the strengthened bridge, abandons, melts, finally leads to the surmounting other shore. Let go of my obsession, away from the reversion of dreams, Nirvana, the foot is the other shore.

空间划分
Space division

整个空间我们划分成六个部分：
1. 进门后的一个艺术装置区域，原本是这个房子的入户花园，现在用一套艺术装置作为进入空间的引领或是心理准备区域，让进入者在这里稍作停留，适当将匆匆赶来的忙碌和焦急与此时此刻的此空间稍作分离。
2. 小书吧/小憩区。墙面白色的悬浮书架上，罗列着近些年设计师自己阅读过并觉得值得购买的书籍，还有很多书籍在不断的补充进来。书架对面的弧形白色沙发即是坐定并阅读的区域。为了使阅读者的注意力更加集中，我们弱化了小茶几的存在，用透明的材质实现了它只放一杯咖啡或茶、不令阅读者分心的功能。坐在沙发上向左看，可以看到对面楼上的空中花园，真是自带好景、可以让人浮想联翩的小角落。
3. 方案汇报区/小型会议室。这里不仅仅是我们约谈设计事项的地方，也是我们设计成果的展示区域。落地窗左右两面墙上，一面以电子显示屏展示我们最新的设计作品图片，另一面墙以书架的形式展示我们的设计作品斩获的最新设计奖项。这是我们设计团队不断求新、前行的力量源泉。
4. 设计团队工作区。工作区以一种开放的形式布置，预设了5个工作位，这跟我们成立工作室的初衷是对应的，我们希望打造一个小而精的设计团队，以更好的应对设计工作和市场的变化；开放的姿态，也表达了我们开放，包容，多元的态度。
5. 材料展示间。材料展示间除了陈列需要用到的各种材料之外，也陈列着我们自己设计的家具样板，艺术装置。期望是，小到家具单体、艺术装置，大到空间，建筑，我们可以用更多元的思维和视角，来思考整个的设计过程。
6. 内省/自观室。我们不仅是设计工作者，更是精神思考者；不仅在技术层面实现设计，更在精神层面进行雕琢和引导。这个自观室，就像是晨钟暮鼓一样，能让人静下来、沉下去，可以面对自己的思想，与自我对话、追随自己的内心。

The whole space is divided into six parts
1. An art installation area after entering the door was originally the entrance garden of the house. Now a set of art installation is used as the leading or psychological preparation area for entering the space, so that the entrants can stay here for a while, and properly separate the busy and anxious rush from the space at this moment.
2. A small book bar / lounge. In recent years, there are a lot of books on the wall that have been added and listed by designers. Sitting on the opposite side of the sofa is the reading area. In order to make the reader’s attention more focused, we weaken the existence of the small tea table and realize its function of placing only one cup of coffee or tea without distracting the reader with transparent material. Sitting on the sofa and looking to the left, you can see the sky garden on the opposite floor. It’s really a small corner with good scenery and imagination.
3. Programme reporting area / small conference room. This is not only a place for us to discuss design matters, but also a display area for our design achievements. On the left and right walls of the French windows, one side displays the pictures of our latest design works with an electronic display screen, and the other wall displays the latest design awards won by our design works in the form of bookshelves. This is the source of strength for our design team to constantly seek innovation and move forward.
4. Design team workspace. The work area is arranged in an open form with five preset working positions, which is corresponding to our original intention of setting up the studio. We hope to build a small and refined design team to better respond to the changes of design work and market. The open attitude also expresses our open, inclusive and pluralistic attitude.
5. Material display room. In addition to displaying all kinds of materials that need to be used, the material display room also displays furniture samples and art installations designed by ourselves. The expectation is that we can think about the whole design process with more diversified thinking and perspectives, from small furniture and artistic installation to large space and architecture.
6. Introspection / observation room. We are not only designers, but also spiritual thinkers; we not only achieve design in the technical level, but also carve and guide in the spiritual level. This self observation room, like the morning bell and evening drum, can make people calm down and sink, and can face their own thoughts, Talk to yourself and follow your heart.

艺术装置和小物件
Art installations and small objects

整个空间中的挂画与艺术装置，都是由设计师自行设计并制作完成。期望是，空间中出现的每件艺术品，都“诉说”与空间同样的“故事”，他们完整了这个空间，同时又以自己的方式从各个侧面强化、重申这个空间想要表达的主旨。

The hanging pictures and artistic installations in the whole space are designed and made by the designers themselves. The expectation is that every work of art appearing in the space “tells” the same “story” as the space. They complete the space, and at the same time strengthen and restate the theme of the space from all aspects in their own way.

 

艺术装置《月光与合金》| Art installation<< moonlight and alloy>>

以波纹不锈钢和落地发光球体作为展示媒介，通过艺术的陈设手法，形成“月落水面”的奇妙幻境。作为坚硬的金属材质，波纹不锈钢在光影和波纹的共同作用下，抛去合金体硬朗冰冷的“假面”，温柔地围绕在似真月落地的球体周围，这美感，仿若在空间里轻抚了一层面纱，冰凉、沉静、柔和、梦幻，令人沉醉、浮想联翩。

装置意在表达，通过不同的设计手法，可以令材质去除本有的特质，展现出截然不同的美感；同样，通过艺术化的陈设手法，效仿自然、制造意境之美，已为平常。

With corrugated stainless steel and floor light-emitting sphere as the display media, through the artistic display techniques, the wonderful illusion of “moon falling on the water” is formed. As a hard metal material, corrugated stainless steel, under the combined action of light, shadow and ripple, throws away the hard and cold “Mask” of alloy body, and gently surrounds the sphere that looks like a real moon landing. This aesthetic feeling is like caressing a layer of veil in the space, which is cool, calm, soft and dreamy, which makes people intoxicated and imaginative.

The device is intended to express that, through different design techniques, the material can be removed from its original characteristics and show a completely different aesthetic feeling; similarly, it is common to imitate nature and create the beauty of artistic conception through artistic display techniques.

艺术装置《Urban Decay衰败城市》| Art installation <<urban decay >>

用大面积镜面锡纸、白色几何框架、碎镜共同搭建的艺术装置，名为《Urban Decay衰败城市》。类似于未完工的建筑组合，屹立在似河流与海浪的大地上，建筑之上片片镜面以不同角度映像着周围的环境与色彩。这种看似起始又似衰败的景致，意在指向人精神世界中意念的兴起与凋零。

塑造空间、塑造美，同时也是在塑造人心，通过设计引发人们对美的向往、对人文起居的关怀、对未来生活形态的思考，这是设计从业者所肩负的重任。

It is an art installation built with large area mirror tin paper, white geometric frame and broken mirror, which is called “urban decay city”. Similar to the unfinished building combination, standing on the land like rivers and waves, the mirrors on the buildings reflect the surrounding environment and color from different angles. This seemingly starting and declining scene is intended to point to the rise and fall of ideas in people’s spiritual world.

Shaping space and beauty is also shaping people’s hearts. It is an important task for design practitioners to arouse people’s yearning for beauty, caring for humanistic living and thinking about future life form through design.

艺术装置画《无序的光影》| Art installation painting <<disordered light and shadow>>

利用编织金属色管状材料制作的艺术装置画，安置在阅读区沙发背后的曲面墙上。这个装置的本意指向一种精神的自由，指向体现万物本身美感的设计初衷。借助右边窗户投射进来的光线，随着一天中光线位置的变化，装置画中立体的线条投射的影子也在画框内不断变化虚实长短。

制作过程中，管状材料在画布上的往复交织，遵循了其本身的材料特性，尽量自然延续其走向，不做刻意的控制或扭曲，任其展示自有的美感。放置在特定位置，有了自然光影的加持，就更充满无常的变化，空灵并让人难以琢磨。

An art installation painting made of woven metal colored tubular materials is placed on the curved wall behind the sofa in the reading area. The original intention of this device points to a kind of spiritual freedom and the original design intention of reflecting the beauty of everything itself. With the help of the light projected from the right window, the shadow cast by the three-dimensional lines in the installation painting changes constantly in the frame.

In the process of making, the tubular materials interweave on the canvas, following its own material characteristics, continuing its trend naturally as far as possible, without deliberate control or distortion, leaving it to show its own aesthetic feeling. Placed in a specific location, with the blessing of natural light and shadow, it is more full of impermanent changes, ethereal and elusive.

艺术装置画《梦与镜中我执》| Art installation painting <<I hold in dream and mirror>>

利用超轻黏土造型的白色大幅装置画，由若干小型体块与曲线造型组合而成。曲线部分意指水流，配合空间内的山水拆解意向；小型体块组合，意指自然界中繁花缤纷的景象。整体装置暗和《桃花源记》中的理想精神世界。 画旁的圆镜亦是装置的一部分，当人走进，镜中呈现了观看者的脸庞，将人拉回现实之中，将观者置入梦与现实的时空隧道之中。

It is composed of a number of small blocks and curvilinear modeling. The curvilinear part refers to the water flow, and the combination of small blocks refers to the colorful scene in nature. The whole installation is dark and the ideal spiritual world in the story of peach blossom garden. The round mirror beside the painting is also a part of the installation. When people walk in, the mirror presents the viewer’s face, pulls people back to reality, and puts the viewer into the space-time tunnel between dream and reality.

艺术组画《就这样静静的听》| Art group painting << listen >>

小型白色组画，在展现黏土在经过不断揉搓、拉伸后的独有肌理的同时，以及其简单的环装呈现于画布中间，仿若一个个形态不同的“耳朵”，用不同的阅历和经验和姿态，聆听着现实世界的一切声音。静静观看，仿佛这些环形在随着时间的推移而改变着“聆听姿势”。这组小装置，意在展现设计师应有的一种特质：“聆听”、“吸纳”、“外表简洁”、“内在丰富”、“与时俱进”、“保持本色”……

Small white group paintings show the unique texture of clay after continuous kneading and stretching, and its simple ring is presented in the middle of the canvas, just like “ears” with different shapes, listening to all the sounds of the real world with different experiences and attitudes. Watch as if the rings are changing their “listening posture” over time. This group of small devices is intended to show the designer should have a kind of characteristics: “listening”, “absorbing”, “simple appearance”, “rich inside”, “keeping pace with the times”, “maintaining the true color”

艺术挂画《蔑》| Art picture <<Mi>>

使用三宅一生惯用的服装面料——带有皱褶肌理的白色面料，为作画的材料，用特殊手法将面料在画布上呈现不规则而又具有美感的立体凹凸质感，与白色空间融合，却又十分突出。这种美来自于织物带来的特有的柔美感，更来自于皱褶之间的疏密关系带来的不确定感。

艺术挂画意在指向一种敢于创新的勇气，敢于蔑视传统、大胆、前卫、摒弃禁忌，看似柔和却坚不可摧。温柔而坚定，用设计和思想，实现普通事物在美学方面的二次重生。

The use of Miyake’s life-long clothing fabric with wrinkled texture is the material for painting. With special techniques, the fabric presents irregular and aesthetic three-dimensional concave and convex texture on the canvas, which is integrated with the white space, but it is very prominent. This kind of beauty comes from the unique softness of the fabric, but also comes from the uncertainty caused by the density relationship between wrinkles.

The meaning of art hanging painting points to a kind of courage of innovation, daring to despise tradition, bold, avant-garde and abandon taboos. It seems soft but indestructible. Gentle and firm, with design and ideas, to achieve common things in the aesthetic aspects of the second rebirth.
