Clayton Woodley在2014年遭遇了一场改变他生命轨迹的车祸。在4个月的康复期中，坐在轮椅上的他对自己的人生、精神生活与愿望进行了反思。之后，重新能够站起来的他带着多年的积蓄，离开纽约踏上了流浪的道路。

在游历了6大洲34个国家后他重返布鲁克林，带着他的摄影艺术系列“梦中的醒觉”出现在大众的视野中。他的作品带着一丝神秘的色彩，颜色各异的纱巾笼罩着女性的身体，随风飞扬，仿佛盛开的花朵，与周边孕育了万物的自然之母产生了对话。女性的姿态与自然创造出宏大的精神世界，而他只不过是其中渺小的一员。

Clayton Woodley had a life-changing accident in 2014 that left him in a wheelchair for 4 months. During that recovery time he re-evaluated his life, spirituality, and aspirations. Later that year after learning to walk again and saving some funds he left New York to travel the world nomadically. After traveling to 34 countries over 6 continents he returned back to Brooklyn with the finished debut fine art photo series “Dreams to Awaken”. The work is a conversation between the divine feminine and mother nature. He sees the body work as meditation and process larger than him in which he is just playing his role.
