Appreciation towards Florian Dovillez for providing the following description:

Up until the Restoration, the principal actors in theatre were in majority males, playing all the roles, including the female ones. Inspired by this notion, Florian focused his second collection on accessorising the modern male.

The colourful monochromatic necklaces, from thick chains to more delicate ones in pastel colours, contrast and complete this new collection.

Two masks were created to symbolise the theatrical inspirations and its duality, the soft sensitive and the hard edge sides.

Goldwell’s Ellumen colourings were used to achieve the perfect shades in the hair that detail the necklaces for maximum brilliance and shine.

The photographer Riki Tinoza will once again be collaborating with Florian to capture the true essence of the collection in a 12 photo series.

The styling will be given to Mellissa Zibi who will be using African imported fabrics to convey a more colourful and ethnic look.

FLORIAN DOVILLEZ

As a fashion lover, Florian made his way towards hairdressing with the only objective of unleashing all the creativity within him. He is trained in his country of origin, France, to move to Madrid in 2008 in order to keep learning and improving his skills.

End of 2009, Florian crosses the big ocean to settle in Montreal. The plastic arts have given him the taste of the different materials, shapes, volumes.… Now he has created a world of excess and contrasts.

2011 is the year when Florian will unveil his first “Hat Collection”, a showcase of hairstyles, using the hat as a base, and also featuring customized accessories for the occasion.

Now he lives between Paris and London.
