Appreciation towards ToThree for providing the following description:

城市之光的雕塑形象作为大型的公共艺术，既建构出项目系统的完整性，也传达出万科品牌无微不至的公共情怀。

As a piece of public art, the installation makes the landscape system a completed one for Dalian City Lights, a residential compound built by Vanke Dalian, meanwhile it conveys Vanke’s caring for public.

在直径七米的圆形空间中，灵动的景观水系与严整的、工业感的钢板字体围合出来的造型，亦虚亦实，构建出机具写意的魔法指环，无论从任何一个角度观察，都是完美无缺的。而指环象征着美好的爱情，以及走向婚姻的誓言与盟约，带着对未来生活的这份期许，年轻的伴侣要在万科的家园构筑他们的爱巢。同时，这样一个艺术形象更代表着兢兢业业的万科人对城市及业主做出的一份郑重承诺。

The installation, demonstrating the brand name in English and Chinese, is made of steel plates. Together with the flexible landscape water, it creates a ring, impressionistic yet real, ethereal yet firm, showing a complete circle from any perspective.

What’s more, a ring symbolizes love and oath for a marriage. With their promises to each other and aspirations for future, young couples choose City Lights to settle their loving homes. The artistic ring is also a promise made by Vanke to Dalian and the proprietors.
