象山是第19届亚运会举办城市之一，于2023年初发布了主题为“青年与海”的驿站营造计划。“白日梦之径”项目就是首批七个亮点驿站之一。

Xiangshan, one of the host cities of the 19th Asian Games, launched a station creation program with the theme “Youth and the Sea” in early 2023. The “Daydream Trail” project is one of the first seven highlight stations.

“白日梦之径”位于宁波象山松兰山片区海岸线，比邻亚运会帆船比赛场地。该点位主要为海水潮位观测站（观潮站），由一座栈桥与海岸相连，因其立面与亚帆中心形象不匹配，亟待设计提升。

The “Daydream Trail” is located along the coastline of Songlanshan area in Xiangshan, adjacent to the Ningbo Xiangshan Sailing Centre. The building is a seawater tidal observation station (tide station), connected to the coast by a trestle.It needs to be renovated because its façade does not match the appearance of the Sailing Center.

出于安全和机密的考虑，业主及管理方提出观潮站和栈桥暂不对外开放，只可远观。驿站营造计划的竞赛组织者则顺应将其定义为一个令人着迷、具有启示感的“白日梦境”。为了弥补无法到达观潮站的遗憾，同时为观景提供一个更好的视角，在设计深化阶段，我们与业主商量后决定在隔海相对的观景平台上增设一处与之呼应的休息亭。

The client and administrative personnel proposed that the tide station and the trestle is not open to the public temporarily for reasons of security and confidentiality. The organizers of the Stagecoach Project competition defined it as a fascinating and revelatory theme “daydream”. In the deepening stage of design, we decided to add a resting pavilion on the viewi platform opposite to the sea after discussion with the client. The design can make up for the regret of not being able to reach the tide station, and to provide a better perspective for the view.

诗意性叙事
poetic narrative

不论是西方文学中象征希望与自由的大海，还是中国传统诗歌中寄托美好愿景与远大理想的大海，“海”的画面一旦出现，似乎就自带着一种远不可及的朦胧派诗歌般的感怀。

在隐隐绰绰的海雾之下，蜿蜒错落的岛礁岸线，零星团状覆盖的植被，曲折窄长伸向大海的栈桥，铺就了一场白日梦境状的舞台：我们终究要攀着那可触及的眺望点，在摸索中逐步走向美丽而不确定的人生。

The image of “sea”, once it appears, seems to carry a kind of distant and unreachable hazy feelings like a poetry. The sea in western literature symbolizes hope and freedom, which holds beautiful visions and lofty ideals in traditional Chinese poetry. ,

Under the sea fog, the coastline, the sporadic mass of vegetation and the trestle make the stage of the theme “daydream”. It shows that we will walk through the pavilion and move towards a beautiful and uncertain life in the groping.

可望不可及的海上观潮站
Inaccessible Tide Station at Sea

孤立在海中的观潮站宛如水中映月的幻影，是那不可及的白日梦。若隐若现的光点，像一股充盈着力量的脉搏，它带动着我们与自然共呼吸。

Isolated in the sea, the tide station is like a reflection of the moon in the water, an inaccessible daydream. Hidden points of light, like a pulse full of power, it drives us to breathe with nature.

考虑到亚运前建设周期内观潮站仍在使用，我们贴合在地环境，以最易实现的策略做了诗意性叙事的改造：原建筑及栈桥的黄色涂料改为水泥灰色；保留原建筑形式、结构不变；外覆一层象征着纯净的白色半透光网格膜，形成一幢极简的尖顶小房子。观潮站的原始建筑如同被虚幻的“梦境”包裹住一般，若隐若现。

Considering that the tide station will still be in use during the construction cycle before the Asian Games, we made a poetic narrative with the most easily realized strategy: the yellow paint of the original building and the trestle was changed to cement grey; the original form and structure of the building were kept unchanged; the exterior was covered with a white translucent mesh membrane to form a minimalist house with a pointed roof. The original building of the tide station is like being wrapped in an illusory “dream world”, hidden and revealed.

栈桥上种植了藤蔓类植物，期待枝叶爬满的时候能为“白日梦之径”再增添一抹时间的痕迹。

Vines have been planted on the trestle, and it is expected to be full of foliage which will add another trace of time to the “Daydream Trail”.

灯光照明被赋予了多种不同的模式，变化的光效与涌动的潮水声共同谱写出一个梦幻场域。

Lighting was given a variety of different modes, light effects and the tidal sound composing a dream field.

曲折但可达的海岸远眺点
Twisty but accessible coastal vistas

由于观潮站的不可通达，休息亭是情感上最接近的可达之地，是那奋斗可及的梦想所得。

Due to the inaccessibility of the tide station, the rest pavilion is the closest place that is emotionally accessible.

从尖顶的入口拾阶而上，穿行于坚硬的柱体与梦幻光影之间，像意外找到可遁入海上小房子内部的时光隧道。

You walk up the steps from the entrance of the spire. You will accidentally found a time tunnel of the little house on the sea between the hard columns, light and shadow.

基于梦想可达地的设计立意，亭子外形延折成廊，顺应场地、标高及现状大树之间的关系，从象征帆船的三角形折线演变成尖顶小房子的形状，与海上的观潮站遥相呼应。

Based on the design intention of dream land, the shape of the pavilion is folded into a corridor, responding to the relationship between the site, the elevation and the existing large trees. The shape evolving from a triangular fold symbolizing a sailboat into the shape of a small house with a spire, which echoes the tide station.

休息亭整体采用与观潮站相同的材料——白色半透光网格膜。悬置于结构间的半透膜飘荡在空中，阳光洒落时柔性尽显。光线经其过滤后疏朗又朦胧，中和了钢结构的冷酷与刚硬。两者互为补充，共同塑造出一种意向——飘忽不定的梦想被坚定地支持与保护。

The rest pavilion is made of the same material as the tide station-a white semi-transparent mesh membrane. Suspended between the structure, the semi-transparent membrane floats in the air, showing its flexibility when the sunlight falls. The light is filtered through the membrane, which is sparse and hazy, neutralizing the steel structure. The two buildings supplement each other, and they shape out an intention of protected dreams.

休息亭的光效与模式更为丰富。夜幕降临时亭子内部忽明忽暗，如同那绚烂的梦境。

The light effects and patterns of the rest pavilion are more abundant. When night falls, the interior of the lights keep flickering just like the colorful dream.

勇敢且温柔的青年之诗
Poetry of courageous and tender youth

不论是远处若隐若现的观潮站还是眼前影影绰绰的休息亭，都寄托着我们对于美好远方的祈愿与想象。希望我们的设计能留存这些期愿，为步履不停的人们提供些许慰藉与力量，让诗意留存，让梦想永续。

Whether it’s the tide station in the distance or the rest pavilion in front of us, they all hold our prayers and imaginations for a better future. We hope that our design can keep these wishes and provide some consolation and strength to those who keep walking, so that poetry can remain and dreams always exist.
