Mr.flame
台灯，如同森林中跳跃的远古火焰

What happens under the forest
In the darkness under the forest, the ancient family of the Flames is burning. Since time immemorial, it has been radiating magic light which shines through every tree, bush and moss garden from below.

The table lamp Mr Flame is one of them.

Light Cones
松果做成灯，木棍捆成凳

In our work we deal a lot of with materials.
Discovering the very known and then further we try to look for new ones.
The forest itself is the cycle of producing lots of interesting materials
and as we go to the forest to be inspered, we use these materials in our next collection.
We collected pine cones, leaves, acorns, sticks and mushrooms.
From which, we prepared an excellent omelet
and with the rest of we made some furniture.

Trunk
放在“树干”中的镜子

The collection of jewel cases with a mirror evokes a group of cut down trees as
a reaction to the rapid retreat of the forest. It holds the mirror of today up to us, pointing out the direction we are taking.

Firewood
“柴”凳/边桌

被劈成两半的树干（桦树，榛树或白蜡树），将加工面朝上组成一个完美的平面。每根木材独一无二，性格鲜明。

The bench is made of the firewood Josef and Zdeňka stocked upsome 40 years ago. However, it did not end up in the fire. Due to a lucky chance, it was conserved in the form of half-round logs until it became a perfect material for the making of a bench. Bench Věra and side table Zdeňka are another pieces of the collection made out of the wood found for heating. Birch, hornbeam or ash tree wood is supported by the steel frame structure with the comaxit surface finish.
Limited edition of 6 pieces, the same number as the amount of the family members is. Each of different shape, each individually made.

Vyrobeno Lesem’s Concept

Made by Forest is a project based on the concept of imprinting the forest atmosphere into elements of contemporary product and graphic design.

‘The Woods Smell of Shampoo’

“The Woods Smell of Shampoo”is the name of Koert van Mensvoort´s TV documentary. In the documentary, the Dutch scientist and artist deals with the relationship between reality and impresion, between reality and reality mediated bythe media.

While for the last ten thousand years, people have perceived nature in more or less unchanged way, now we can set foot into the woods with a feeling similar to that of Mensvoort´s little daughter who felt the familiar scent of pine shampoo.

Are we that much influenced by media? Can a TV shot or ad comprehend our notion of what a tree looks and smells like? Which of the things in our daily life are still authentic? This question, as part of one thing and defense of the other, but rather a neutral reflection on man and his attitude to the forest in a collection of objects and graphics on the theme of the interconnection of civilization and nature.
